Luke smith is a bungie employee but what if they wanted to keep us away from that area of the raid because it's part of the hard mode and there is in fact something to do in that area to trigger something so to prevent everyone trying things and getting close they just said it's for fun no loot because they didn't think we would find it so quickly ... My opinion on the whole matter if I do hard mode and we can do something in that room I swear to god.
