So the title sums this all up.
So who do you think would win in a battle against each other? The infamous Molag Bal from the Elder Scrolls series, or The Taken King? They can both use their full abilities, Molag Bal has his plane of oblivion, and Oryx has his Dreadnaught. They both have their armies and could use them against each other.
So who would win? Tell me why you think this as well :)
Edit 1: Reading lots of good arguments from people. I have to say though I have opened up my mind to Molag Bal's side on this. Oryx would continue to kill Molag Bal but then he would just come back to life. The battle would never end. Oryx could still take Molag's deadra so I'd say their out of question. I still think Oryx is a win on this one 👍
Edit 2: Woah! We're trending people! Thanks! :) Let's keep up the discussions

Molag Bal would turn Oryx Soul Shriven and then place him in a room filled with Guardian illusions and an awoken Traveller

1 ReplyJigglypuff > oryx and molag bal

Holy shit imagine a Taken Daedric Titan. How about nope I'm -blam!-ing out.

I think the battle would go something like this... Oryx meets Molag Bal in a neutral realm, one not giving the other the advantage of their own realm. Both would come as an enormous size. The battle would last years, Oryx cutting at Molag, Molag smashing Oryx with his mace. No one quite getting the upper hand. When, seemingly out of no where. A man walks into the battlefield, looking so much smaller than both. "Who dares disturb this epic battle?" Oryx bellows. Molag, however, takes a step back. The man simply raises the staff he is carrying. Oryx attempts to summon the darkness when there is a flash of light from the staff and suddenly the world looks much bigger to Oryx. He tries to move forward but instead hops. He notices his now long bunny ears and fluffy tail. He looks up at the Stranger wearing a weird red and purple outfit. The stranger speaks, "Faith and Begora, if Oryx don't make a cute little bunny. Let me introduce myself. I'm Sheogorath, prince of madness. And now your my pet." Oryx tries to yell his defiance but only squeaks softly. "Let me put it in terms ya may understand. You are Oryx. Destroyer of worlds. Keeper of the tablet of ruin and father of Crota. You have been wabbajacked. No longer will you worry about little trifles like immortality or conquest. There is a knife for you. It's shaped like [a carrot]. Take and eat. Grow strong to help me defeat the worst enemy of all... moldy cheese!" And that's how Sheogorath got a pet bunny.

1 ReplyI would say ORYX VS WABBAJACK!

Edited by FangedNomena: 10/5/2015 10:12:49 PMWell, Molag Bal would have an infinite amount of daedric soldiers, though I suppose Oryx could take them. Still, you can't kill a Daedric Prince, (because they did not give themselves to creation) so Molag Bal would win in the end. Could Oryx stop Molag Bal? Sure, but he could never truly defeat him in the same sense that we defeat Oryx.
Actually, Vivec wins. End of story
1 ReplyKnowledge is power. Vote 4 Hermeus Mora.
-
Hermeaus Mora is more comparable to oryx, both strive for knowledge above all else. But Hermeaus Mora would win, too many tentacles. Oryx could probably kill Molag Bal.

3 RepliesEdited by chunken: 10/4/2015 1:59:31 PMSheogorath > Molag > Oryx Sheogorath would turn them in no bunnies or butterflies. ALL HAIL WABBAJACK!
-
9 RepliesOryx vs Molag Bal would be like a low-leveled bandit attempting to kill a Dovahkiin with full Daedric armor.

5 RepliesTrick question. The true battle is between sheogorath and Rahool

Mehrunes Dagon.

Oryx literally had more than his dreadnaught. He can literally bring forth the darkness itself and kill everything on a massive explosion. And that's from his chest.

1 ReplyIs molagbol the guy from the DLC where you get the new island?
-
Molag Ball because you cant kill a daedric prince
-
3 RepliesYou picked a weird place to talk ES lore. Most players here are 15. Yes that's younger than the ES series
-
19 RepliesOryx can't take molag, remember when he couldn't take an ogre? Well molag is like 5x stronger

1 ReplyThe warpriest could beat Molag Bal lol

14 RepliesEdited by Evilman520: 10/5/2015 6:47:57 PMOryx would ultimately win. Neither side can truly kill the other. Molag Bal is a daedric prince, and thus, can't be killed. Auryx killed his two sisters within the throne world, but was able to resurrect them through what they embodied. He waged war, so Xivo Arath was resummoned. He betrayed Xivo Arath, so Savathun was resummoned. Xivo resummoned Oryx from within the darkness by understanding him. So as long as Xivo or Savathun still lives, Oryx cannot die. However Oryx has one power over the God of Schemes: Understanding. Anything that Oryx can understand, he can overpower, and Take. Understanding Molag Bal would be child's play, compared to understanding creatures like the Vex. Once he can Understand him, he can learn his weakness, Take him, and break him. Oryx has lived millions of years, and has Taken hundreds of thousands of worlds. Molag Bal has nothing on him.

Oryx before or after the worm?

>oryx tries to take Titan >oryx gets shit on >oryx goes back to Saturn

4 RepliesThere's not really a contest here. Oryx was a mortal given great power and started calling himself a god. Molag ball legitimately is one.
