Oryx used my Shards and did not give me anything
I had over 20 moldering shards in my inventory, but I didnt get the extra loot that is guaranteed if you have enough shards. I hear it's glitched, does that mean I will be cheated out of my shards AND loot? Or can the people affected by this be compensated?

My first time using the 20 shards got me a 310 TRUTH. I infused it in my Sleeper Simulant.

It's not glitched people's brains are glitched and don't fully understand how drops work. Oryx is a boss. He has a chance like any other to give you a reward. Or simply just materials. When you spend 20 moldering shards, you receive a random reward from the rest of the raids drop pool. That means it will be boots, arms, body, class item, ghost, rocket, machine gun, shotgun, fusion rifle, or sniper rifle. Oryx like any other boss has only a CHANCE to drop you a primary weapon, or helmet. This drop is unaffected by moldering shards. So oryx never takes 20 and only gives you 2 back. You ALWAYS spend 18 technically and are rewarded with a pre oryx drop. Hope that helps

First time around I got GOOD loot but the other 5 times I didn't get anything of note.

Just happened to me tonight too. It's definitely broken, not even a matter of complaining. Just broken. Can't argue with facts. "Extra rewards [b][u]will[/u][/b] be granted when defeating Oryx in the King's Fall Raid with at least 20 of these." Broken.

I got a 310 Truth last night on Oryx with 20 moldering shards used. I infused it in my SS.

I have yet to have the 20 shards count for anything other than to be exchanged for 2 shards. Pretty irritating.

He took my shards and gave me the extra reward and 2 moldering shards ONLY. I didn't want that stupid rusion rifle the first time I got it. I would have taken a third hand cannon over the fusion rifle.

I didn't get anything from the chest doing the war priest. I think it is just the recognition of the chest-opening in the raid is bugged.

I think its bugged. He can ( and has ) taken away 20 shards and can give you 2 back as an "extra reward". Another simple bungie oversight, expect a fix in about 3-4 months :)

Oryx ate my shards and only gave me a 309 fusion rifle. I know it's better than nothing, but... meh :(

Downed him again and got nothing but an antiquated rune and another set of raid boots with worse light for my shards. My warlock has no luck XD

I had a fusion rifle in my postmaster when I went back to the tower, but that probably came from killing the daughters.

Ya secound time killing oryx had 28 moldering shards and got nothing and no more moldering shards when others got 2 to 3 raid gear

2 nights in a row I lose shards and get no rewards except 2 shards. It's bull. Really unhappy. Fix this crap
