Wtf is the point of Nightfalls

I got zhalo supercell at 310 yesterday. A rocket launcher and 294 armor

I got a bloody omolon scout rifle at 270, the gunsmith is better than that, all three nightfalls so far have given me garbage

Ran only ran a couple over the past few weeks, we got crappy legendaries, coins and motes. Haven't ran since. No buff, no exotics, no point.

Exactly. Since they messed up the playlists and NF my time on Destiny has dropped considerably. Just not excited about it as much. Moved to MGS 5 for a break. Still log in for bounties and dailies, but basically kinda ho-hum now. Still think TTK is great tho.

I have the same problem with getting crap from the nightfalls but my friends are all getting exotic weapons and gear. I don't get it.

Dude I played my 3 almost every week in nightfall during HOW. I got etheric light only twice. Sometimes I solo'd it. Man my luck was bad. And I needed etheric badly. I have mixed feelings about all the new nightfall complaints now. The story missions for me are hard enough solo on hardest setting. Wish we got more opportunity for reward there. Tried night fall solo one time with TTK last week. Yeah. Dead at warsat. Love infusion and the opportunity with 3 of coin. Haven't tried the raid yet. Maybe soon if some one invites me. Need to raise more light so I can try the new night falls.

There is none. The loot drop rates are incredibly broken and yo get same amount of reputation as a heroic strike, and they took away the nightfall buff we used to always go for. Bungie will fix it when they see everyone stopped playing it

Edited by futuranma: 9/30/2015 10:23:10 PMit used to be that special time of the week when guardians would hope and pray for the g-horn to drop. only to see the game bless the worst player on the team or the player that doesn't want another one with it. new players don't know how awkward it was to hear grown men on your team crying because the g-horn dropped but they didn't get it.

8 RepliesYou must be new, Nightfalls have always been random. I can't count how many times I got ascendant energy or shards back in the dark below days. 12 coins, means you can buy three of coins, motes are somewhat useful. My first set of Nightfalls I got, a cape, five 3 of coins, and my warlock got a legendary Titan helmet :/ It'll get better, I've seen one of my clan mates, get an exotic from a three of coins and an exotic from the nightfall reward (in one run)
