To those requiring "295+" trying to get the Black Spindle
You're absolutely right.
I ran it with 3 of us at 295, 295, and 296.
Could. Not. Do it.
Probably need raid weapons for the damage bonus to taken. This quest is ROUGH
EDIT: wow. Lots of people on here disagree! I must have had an inferior group lol.
I suppose I DID spend a lot more time reviving than I should've had to during the boss :/
Edit: almost 1000 replies. Holy shitballs Batman!
Edit: my phone has exploded. Lots of success stories in here!
Unfortunately, by the time my team and I finally got it, we finished a minute after reset. Literally ONE. MINUTE!
Next time I guess T.T

Just need to be gud. You don't need to rush just because there is a timer. Staying alive is equally important.

Ran it with two 290+ and a 278. We had difficulty once we got to the ketch because the 278 couldn't do enough damage to enemies. Especially when they had shields. At the boss, we couldn't dish enough damage to get him below 1/3

295, 296(me), 292, we beat it when it only had 30 seconds left. None of us had raid weapons, one Titan with bubble works good for weapons of light, other two were warlocks

We beat it 292, 294, 296. You need coordination and to be with people you can trust and enjoy doing it with. Once you start getting irritated you've lost.

We killed boss while simultaneously killing add spawn bubbles, finished with 10 seconds left.

Also it was easier if killed all adds then worked boss then adds again then boss till you killed both

Did it last night with 290,289,296. None of us had raid weapons. Just need to be aggressive

clear those blights! othewise you'll get overwhelmed, we had 2 people damaging the boss while i just ran around with the sword killing adds once the blights were gone

My friends did it with 2 280s and a 295 , stormcaller , void hunter , defender and he ain't lying because my friend only has a one high character and he's level 286

We were all <290 and only barely made it to the boss. I severely underestimated the difficulty. Next time I will be prepared.

1 ReplyDamn I almost did it by myself but failed, couldn't kill the boss since two captains were throwing their god damn taken balls

3 lvl 290's we did it with 1 minute 30 seconds left. However it was our 4th attempt. For those of you who still struggling there is a small room under the stairs on the far left. Kill adds and have 1 or 2 people stick under the stairs damaging the boss and any other lose adds. Have the other member draw attention around the boxes on the left hand side. If you have a hunter get him using vanish smoke bomb for any ressing. This strategy reduces the amount of Spam Hadouken's that blind you from the boss. Once the boss is dead clear the rest of the adds with swords (they seem to be the quickest way to deal with the shielded enemies). I also suggest getting rid of those floating basket balls whenever possible.

I went through with a 293, 294, & 296. We had a solid 3 minutes left when we finished it.

Well i tried to do it with just me and my gf and we almost had the boss killed one or two more shots and he would have gone down. But then there were the rest of the adds lol. Im sure if we had a 3rd person it would have be a fair run.

I did it with one other person and we were 295 light, and we died twice and to top it off we don't have any raid gear, all it really takes is good communication and also shoot the black disco ball things because the spawn more enemies

Oh, I thought its another whine thread. Ok then. I would rather require a Touch of Malice emblem and an exotic sword. Along with 300+.
