Full time job, full time 4.0 student, light 291 AMA
I'm sure a lot of people have a lot of obligations that they need to get done everyday before they can even think about playing destiny. Whether you can only get game time on the weekends, can only spare about an hour a day, or find time to squeez a half hour or so between the events of everyday life.
Breaking 300 and completing kings fall might be plausible for normal people who work a nine to five, but lets face it. Students like me who are at school 6 hours (give or take) a day and work 30-40 hours a week can have a hard time getting there grind on.
This thread is for people to share the tips on time managment, life hacks, ect. That helps us get in our oh so valubal stress relief of game time.
And for the record, if your in a similar situation to me and can even hit 280, your a legend in my book ;)

Edit 2: It looks like theres a lot of folks here who are pretty badass in game and irl. I'd love some advice how you all make it happen

If you're in the U.S.A a 4.0 isn't exactly some amazing achievement. Their education system is made to inflate grading. My friends who left Canada to go to school in the U.S are always talking about how easy it is to get 4.0's compared to Canadian institutions.

2 RepliesMilitary, wife, 2 year old, part time student. I don't have long to play, but I've found grinding 35 strikes and heroic strikes seem to be the best way to get stuff quick. Also, decode engrams in 2's, if you get something better than what you have, equip it, lather rinse repeat

Full time job 3 kids and a wife and I own my own business on the side. I did 293 in one weekend. Just do all your "chores" early and if you have a good full day and a half to play you can get it pretty easy!
