Personally I'd choose History as the most unneeded since we don't need to know the past, all we can do about is the present and future. History teaches us about our past but it seems useless to me as long as you don't know the past, you won't even know you made mistakes from the past
Edit-those who says history is needed to not repeat the past, you just need common sense really
-Kill people is bad
-Forcing someone to work for you is bad
-Driving airplanes into buildings is bad
-Hating people for race is bad
-Feminism is bad
-Bad things are Bad

I think it really depends on who you are. I never use math, so math is generally useless to me. I'm surprised how many people are saying English. I think everyone should have a basic understanding of the language they're communicating in. Although studying literature..maybe not so important. To each their own.

Well, personally I've used what I learned in science the least in my life I think... But all those subjects are really important.
-
History. While it is still important, you need the other 3 so much more.
-
If i can speak, type and write i don't need english

Edited by pizzajona: 9/12/2015 6:50:39 PMAll of these are important. History is important though. You need to learn the past to make better decisions in the future.

I mean, I'd rank all of these as incredibly important. I picked science because I personally don't like studying it, but let me tell you I really appreciate all the nice things that science has produced for humans

1 ReplyA lot of the things in science and chemistry. No one, in a practical life, would have to know the formula for photosynthesis or how to balance scientific equations.

2 RepliesHow is science not winning? It's fuсking pointless

4 RepliesI Say math. -blam!- geometry -blam!- calculus -blam!- trigonometry -blam!- all that noise. Up to algebra is all that should be needed.

4 RepliesAnyone voting for science or math is an idiot.

2 RepliesLol no english, really? Without those lessons you wouldn't even know how to form a sentence.
but then again most people still don't
You're just biased against history. Major global upheavals have all been precedented by patterns of civil unrest. If you ignore these problems and patterns, history will repeat itself. Now me personally, the structure and grammar of a sentence seems to be a lot less important to me than any of the others. Vocabulary is the most important, but other than that, as long as you know the words of the language you're trying to speak, you should be ok.

History. It's obviously not a very well handled subject, a lot of people seem to get it wrong so it's not being taught very well. It's one subject you probably won't use very much in your day to day lives either. I love people saying math isn't needed. Good luck trying to handle all your bills without it. English is needed, just browse the internet for proof, some people need it a lot more than others.

We need history because the difference between trump and hitler is germany threw hitler in jail for treason.
-
You know, all of these things are actually important.

This explains why people use the wrong "your" so much

History never repeats itself but it offten ryhems.

The past is important to ensure we don't make mistakes, just as how we learn from the mistakes we make currently. None of those are okay to do without.
-
Math is the most important yet the most boring
-
Too much to say them all. An example? Philosophy.
