TO ALL IDIOTS WHO DONT KNOW WHY TTK RAID WILL NOT BE RELEASED ON DAY ONE
ok so the TTK raid was delayed and ppl are getting pissed about this and I can't stand how stupid these crybabies are so I'm gonna explain and hopefully this can get through some thick skulls here in forums:
The taken king raid won't be available on day one of TTK which will mean that we will actually have some time to get setup for it.
We have a little bit of time to get our new subclasses worked out, obtain some good gear, get some good weapons and actually be prepared.
[b]If the raid released on day one then here is what would happen:[/b]
The world first completion of the raid would have nothing to do with the first group with the most coordination and problem solving, it would be which group of ppl has absolutely no lives at all and was able to level up to doing the raid the fastest.
World first for the raid shouldn't be determined by who levels their shit fastest, that would be so -blam!-ing lame.
World first will be determined by everyone being prepped and ready, and then going after the raid at the launch time of it.
If you are one of the ppl who is actually pissed and rioting and shit then maybe you should just leave this game because you are a poison to this community.

I personally agree. the world first has turned into a big thing for this community and what really messed Bungie up was when in the dark below people where complaining and bitching that the content was played and completed in a single day and a vast amount of people that played it a lot capped their lvl on day 1. what Bungie is trying to do is to find that "sweet spot" for the raid release. the VoG raid was too long at a week after launch and the TDB was too short at the same day as launch. giving players a little bit of time to organize and strategize makes for a MUCH more interesting race for first then it did in TDB. anyone who says other wise are most likely the same people who bitch at bungie over anything and are never happy. Just because you don't get the content this instant does not mean that the content is being locked off and being denied for no reason other then to spite us the players. This is not the same as the collectors edition where they created content in game that you could only get with that collectors edition. Don't raise hell over every little detail or the outcries we voice to Bungie will slowly loose there value and ultimately it's power to change what is unjust. in summery: its only 3 days, use it to your advantage for the raid rather then bitching about it so that we can keep their attention on what truly needs their attention.

The three day waiting period actually works out perfect for me. I took tuesday off to play day 1 and I have friday/saturday off. Amazingly timed.

I would like everyone that is complaining about the three day wait to post their completion of the raid on day three. Bet not even half can put it up. Myself included, and that's why you need time to prepare. Slowwww dowwwwn noooo oooonneee caaaarrreees iffff youuurrreee fiiiirrrrrssstt eeeeeeevvvvvveeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr. Ever .

Also releasing it day 1 and completing it fast doesn't determine if you have no life. It determines how good you can improvise to the dlc.

Leaving VoG out hurt them in reviews needlessly, just seems like a mistake being repeated on that front. Luckily it's only 3 days so reviewers will get to try it all before they rate the game.

4 RepliesI'm so glad we gotta wait. I don't wanna see my mates "trying" to do the raid on day 1 or 2. I wanna finish the story, learn new weapons, how the light works, play the strikes, learn and max sub class. Get used to the new tower layout and new currency system and bounty system. Then after a week or more play the raid.
