My bro bought an Xbox one and I've been playing on it. I grind out everything on my Xbox destiny account and been an Xbox live subscriber for 7 years. Now I got my own place. So now I have to buy my own console. I don't know if I want an Xbox or Ps4. Before TTK comes out. Hmmm
Edit: None of my friends are on Xbox anymore. None are on PS. I love Xbox controller. hate PS controller with a passion. I like MMO based games (FF/grind games). Halo has been shit. Hardly played the last one. Battlefield is tits!! COD is washed up. Haven't bought the last 3 or next one. Both have media players for YouTube, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu. I have owned both last gens and never touched the PS3. After a week.
Edit: OMG I just saw the PS4 Taken King Edition. That's shits tight!!! I was wanting the white Xbox one too. This decision just got harder. F@$k!!!
Edit: Games interested to me right now is Star Wars Battlefront. Next Battlefield and Destiny TTK. On the fence with Fallout. not looking at Halo 5. Exclusives are what would make me switch with Destiny! Other games are on both console.
Edit: So after 700+ replies. I think I'll stay with Xbox because the year one exclusives will be available to us. I didn't miss them and actually never thought about them. So why would I care about the next one? So this possibly saves me from starting completely over. So I'm still on the fence but now I am at like 85% Xbox.
See where I am stuck?

Just my personal preference, I'd say get a ps4. That way you'll have access to all the playstation exclusives. However, xbone is a good system. If your used to it, no reason really why you shouldn't stick with it.
-
Been there and chose to stick to Xbox for Destiny. I have a PS4 too but no plans to grind it all over again on top of not having a single friend on PS4.
-
Get one, get the other later!

Xbox
im on playstation
I would go xbox since that's where your history is at. U say u hate the ps controller so that would take some getting used to, I personally prefer ps4 plus that's where my friends play. If you play destiny on Xbox already u may as well stick with it
-
Save money Get both.

Edited by MASTER SHAKE199: 8/30/2015 10:44:52 PMI have both new consoles, but for me personally, I like Xbox a bit more.

You have an xbox stick with xbox. You get a few guns extra on ps4 so what?
-
X1 all the way, especially if your brother has one. Keep your fam close.

2 RepliesPS4, I switched from 360 and its been great (the controllers are still uncomfortable tho) plus, we get all the destiny content 1st exclusive. Xbox is still trying to integrate stuff with windows, they had a great dashboard system on 360 and ruined it for xbone rather than upgrade and improve on what they already offered they tried to revolutionise it when it didnt need it. at least playstation is making progress imo (slow tho it may be)

2 RepliesPs4 ttk edition

1 ReplyYou know theres things out that will allow you to use xbox controller on a ps or the other way around.
-
As an owner of both I recommend ps4 but go where your friends are because both at the end of the day are good consoles

6 RepliesBoth have ups and downs. Psn always seems down. But xbox also seems to have weird bugs. But for you xbox seems the way to go. Destiny is fun on either. Also ps exclusives do come to xbox. And getting them a year later gives us a little some extra to look forward to.

Based on your situation I would stick with xbox one because you would lose all your gainings on your destiny account. But I see them as pretty equal consoles.
-
What ever it make you feel Comfortable
-
Ps4 definitely. Though I would give up my ps4 controller for a xbox controller.
-
I got rid of my xbone for ps4, no regrets
-
Currently, PS4 has better exclusive deals. Look into what games you want and see which console has the upper hand
-
2 RepliesPs4 plays most games at 1080p, xone plays most at 720p. Ps4 is more of a gaming console Xbone is more of an entertainment console Ps4 has destiny exclusives Xbone does not

1 ReplyXbox One man. I have both and whenever I hop on the ps4 to play with some coworkers, I always run into some PS4 exclusive problems. It's really frustrating that a console can't do the simplest things. It's like playing a really old game and saying to yourself "what the hell, I can't even do that?"

Go with the controller you like. The boxes are not very different, most exclusive games have a nigh-on-equivalent available on the other platform, and if you don't have a mass of friends either place, there's no reason to be unhappy with the main form of interaction with the system. Moreover, although Sony had a strong lead with indies, MS has been doing a great job getting back to where they were with XBLA, and in another 6 months I'd expect near parity on that mark. Unless you've found a make-it-or-break-it game on PS, go with the xBox. I haven't read any glowing reviews of the cross-platform controller adapters, and playing with an uncomfortable controller is a great way to start hating your purchase. That being said, I can't believe your controller preference! :-)
