The forums are where you go to have all the happiness in your life sucked out into a gaping crevice of negativity, of course, if you can avoid the crevice and try speaking your mind, someone comes by and slashes your throat for it, either dismissing you as Bungie's bitch or a whining bitch. Anyone who could've helped guide you to the lighter side of the forums have all had their throats slashed, so those who complain and think their opinions are superior can run free. Enjoy

I don't think OP necessarily had a problem with people having a negative opinion about the game or specific aspects of it, but mainly had an issue with the way that negative opinion is expressed. It's not that someone dislikes the new exotics displayed yesterday or the new strike or the weapon modifications from the next update. It's that those people insist on voicing their complaints in the most extreme way possible. Do I like all of the changes that they have made? No. But I also don't feel like Bungie's decision in how to update and change [b]their[/b] game is some type of personal affront to me or that the game should have been catered to how I want it to be. Bungie makes the game they want to make. It is then my decision whether they've made a game I still want to play. Is Destiny the most perfect game ever made? No. On the other hand, is it the worst game ever made? Definitely not. Based on many of the posts I read on here (and possibly most), however, it appears that most people don't realize there are a wide swath of possibilities in between those two end points. Something is either the greatest or the worst. An update either makes the game wonderful or ruins it completely. Everyone seems happy enough to point out freedom of speech and the right to voice [b]their own[/b] opinion but then immediately shuts down another person who expresses a conflicting view. Maybe it's a generational thing or because we are anonymously online or because people generally seem to lack respect for others these days and be more concerned with what benefits them. Whatever it is, the majority of the posts I see on the forums were seemingly made by people more concerned with seeming cool or with acting like an a$$hat so your post can trend or people can respond with lol than to actually have a normal conversation with people about a subject we all enjoy.

I don't think a sense of entitlement is that big of a problem around. Blind fanatism, on the other hand... I mean, don't people realize that you can be critical of the things you like? You don't have to defend everything 100% all the time and ignore its flaws. It's okay. Destiny is flawed. The hype surrounding TTK has many, many, many flaws. You can have a positive attitude about it, but denying them and attacking the people who point those flaws out is... insane.

I don't think you know what entitlement is. Complaining about relatively lackluster content in something you PAID FOR is NOT entitled. It's completely reasonable.
