Probably because it's a lot of work an coding to allow such appearance changes after initially starting up...but I know it's possible....lol maybe they just don't know how or didn't feel like doing on it... :/ I understand it's such a minimal thing to think about for a game like this, but at the same time it's one of those things I'm sure a lot of people would use if it were actually an option.
