My mom was the chaperone in 5th grade. I knew my dad wouldn't do it, so she was my last extremety. My brother gave me some super good advice to not let her go with me, because the truth was that she was loud. After a rude awakening, she finally agreed. I just made sure that I didn't have the last word, or she be the ice breaker and wouldn't be happy.
