Forced to subscribe to PlayStation Plus
I am very disappointed to find that when upgrading to the PS4 I am forced to relinquish the ability to participate in Fireteams or cooperative and competitive modes. I must subscribe to PlayStation Plus to regain this function.
I already had to repurchase the game ( a Christmas present from my wife) now I have to spend another $50.00 to get back to where I was on the PS3.
What a ripoff! Is Bungie that hard up for revenue?

1) that's sony's profit alone. 2) it's not just destiny. Most games with multiplayer require ps plus on the ps4

How many PS4 online games, co op mp etc Don't need plus, i know theres one or two, is Warframe one?, can't remember, anyway as you have been told already it's now required, same as if you'd been on the xbox360 instead of ps3, i been subbed since day1, most people decided to join (off and on) since they started the IGC, (which i hated, long story).. however PS4's plus subscriptions were 'lol' supposedly to upgrade/maintain the servers and generally improve stability.. plus they throw in 2 indies each month.., i have a feeling that plus really isn't required for the pve, it's just a milk ploy, pvp is different matter though, people who are into that are aware of extra fee's.. no wonder most mp players are usually pissed.. Sadly it's here to stay though, don't get me wrong i have it/will keep getting it, just don't think it's required and hate them forcing pve/story type players into buying it, there IS some online games you don't need plus for, am 99%. IF your into Destiny though i guess it's not too much extra to pay?.. never know, they might even get around to naking better/safer online by time PS6 is out too!

First off, I'm pretty sure the PlayStation plus requirement has nothing to do with Bungie. Second, if you're a grown ass married man and you're struggling with $50, this game is the last thing you should be thinking about.

play station is what requires players to get play station plus to play online. it was your choice getting the PS4 and you didn't do any research. it's your own fault. if you can afford a brand new PS4 then the membership should be chump change.

That's playstation making you subscribe, not bungie. Plus it's a well known fact that you need to be online to play this game, and also well known that you need Ps+ or xbox live to get online. Therefore you should have known beforehand that you would have needed to get ps+.
