IT'S A GOOD READ IF YOU HAVE THE TIME.[/b] I don't want to play a game that takes longer to patch things than f*cking Mojang, they started off as an amateur and young company but they released weekly updates and fixed any and every problem that came around almost immediately, they didn't wait a few months so that they wouldn't loose any sales on their next DLC, they started off with something fun and made it better without 'better' meaning 'not as bad as when they started'. Also, on the topic of DLC, what kind of bullshit is it that you have to fix and change so many things about a game with each addition because you were just so incapable at doing it in the ten years that you worked on it. Seriously, it really bugs me that I know this game can be good, just not with the way that they are doing things now. It's going to be great by the time that they are done, but they should be capable of improving a game each year without needing their community to show them how to do it. I honesty believe that Bungie is more than competent enough to make this game amazing, but it doesn't justify starting off their game with such a boring and repetitive need to grind day in and day out. Each ($20-$40) DLC so far seems like the equivalent of a single quest line in a game like Skyrim, and I'm perfectly fine with that so long as you make it more than just "Eris wants this dude iced so take out him and his goons." or "Queen in danger send halp!" I'll at the very least credit to them that at the very least TTK seems to be doing more than just a mediocre story (Come on. You know it, I know it, they know it, everyone f*cking knows it) followed by a repetitive weekly whatever (srsly man, make the game additions expansive enough that I can have profitable playtime more than once a week, you shouldn't have to make stuff that will artificially take longer to get bored with, make content we CAN'T get bored with so fast). Make each expansion include new aspects of the game that seem like ACTUAL ADDITIONS and not things that should have been in the game from the start. I like the additions of the PoE and ToO, along with the wolf bounties (which will probably be inaccessible this sept.) but aside from that, expansion 2 was just a storyline that literally might as well not have been there, it was merely a slight exposition that seemed to be shoved in our faces, "oh noes, this guy escaped prison or something and he's got to be stopped, and so do a bunch of other less important people, at a rate of no more than 6 per week... for some reason". I'm not even going to start on TDB, because I could talk for hours about that. So far TTK looks like it will have more to offer than a lame ass 'story' (I'm about as loose as a sorority sister at a football game with the word 'story' here) and a repetitive end game, whatever the endgame PvE activity for Oryx is looks less repetitive than what we've played so far, and the addition of weapon foundries and a completely revamped (let's hope for the better, if not I might have to stab a bitch) weapons economy and finally a quest system that looks like what the other expansions or even the original game should have had (yeah, it looks THAT much better, meaning I can actually find everything without having to talk to 3 different vendors and going to orbit just to get my whereabouts). It seems like what they are doing in TTK has a lot of the things that we heard (in rumors... oooh how mysterious) the original game was supposed to have before Activi$ion murdered it's parents and lobotomized it in fear of it seeking vengeance by donning a costume and serving justice by night with a bat-themed arsenal (I digress) so I'll give them credit for that. Another thing that I've decided to bitch about is not their unbalanced "blah blah insert spiel about how they don't understand how PvP is supposed to work", but their seemingly reluctant and indifferent attitude towards it. Seriously they're waiting an entire 7-8 MONTHS (not weeks, f*cking months, they waited almost a year to fix a problem, even temporarily) to dish out a much needed change to their unbalanced to the game's weapons. As they showed with Auto Rifles, they don't give a f*ck about fixing something so hard that it's broken in a whole new way, so why not do this with literally anything else? (No joke, they could have written each problem on a piece of paper and hunger gamesed them one at a time out of a hat or some shit, but noooooo they decided that their time was needed on more pressing issues such as... I can't actually think of anything worthwhile that they fixed, wow, and I'm pretty sure they fixed at least one thing, not kidding) they didn't experiment AT ALL with any weapons changes at all in HoW and instead decided to wait until TTK, now I'm sure that everything will be fine and dandy and crap then but what about now? Seriously they didn't even say a word about it until very recently (and you asshats hated every word of it, didn't you! I'm looking at you, spiteful community!). All in all, if I were to write about every aspect of this game that infuriated me (oh yes, that's right there's more, so much more.) I would probably have an aneurism or go into cardiac arrest because I'm a fat ass (no, I'm not one of those spiteful fatties who hates that being healthy doesn't come free with the carbs they just inhaled because they don't know a thing about how the body works), and I'm pretty sure I've made my point at least vaguely clear to all 5 of you who managed to read this. So at the end of this, what my main message would be is that Bungie, ya done f*cked up this first year so far, no A-B honor roll for you, but I have high hopes for TTK and the future, you have all the pieces but you have to make them into something that doesn't need to be dragged out into several weeks, it has to be replayable because it's just that much fun and not because we can only do it once a week. You have to be able to respond more quickly (really, any faster would be like a 1,000% increase BY DEFAULT) to problems with both your PvE AND PvP (I swear to god if the problem I have with Crucible next October is the same as the one I have next February I'm going to go medieval up in here). Your expansions should be able to bring more than the woes and plights of whatever npc comes knocking at our door, things like the weapons foundries are a start, do more like that, expose a world that is more than your whole 'imagination' excuse because we didn't believe it for a second. Tell us a tale that we can actually see unfold before our eyes, not a pile of random cards online that kind of tell us a story in no order whatsoever that may or may not have anything to do with our story at all. Don't let every new release after this be something that will make people stop believing in you, you don't deserve that (even after your deal with the devil that is Activi$ion). Destiny is a good game, it should have been great, but right now, here, before you start your second year, you can snatch its ass up and put it back on the path to make it even better than what we had hoped for back in 2013. Change it up, tear it apart and put it back together again, make us actually give a crap about a person in this game (seriously anyone, literally nobody in this game matters AT ALL right now). You know, like what you told us, like what you said you wanted to show us, go on and give us a show of what you can really do Bungie. Games should cost around $100 nowadays with inflation. Games have gone up in price everywhere but the United States. This is why you see developers milking their game for all its worth. I, for one, would much rather pay $80 - $100 and get a full product from the box. It's just unfortunate that so many people would lose their minds if they increased the price of games up from $60.

Or you could also say people enjoy what they want to enjoy. If you don't enjoy the product, then say so with your money. Sadly, I agree with OP and yet I know I will continue playing this game. You see, I have already invested too much time into this shitty broken MMOFPeiceOfSHIT, and my Destiny Tracker stats reflect that. "Fanboys" & "sheep" are the reason that you can play theses AAA titles. You think there are enough hardcore gamers to support a game that cost over 100 million to make? If that were the case you would see maybe 2-3 AAA titles a year. Nowadays the majority of the gamers on your favorite games are "casuals".
