Gjallarhorn owners unite!
If you're like me, you are unbelievably, "Hulk smash" pissed about our beloved Gjallarhorn being nerfed. The have nots cried and cried because they didn't have one and were too stupid to form their own teams and not require it.
I've never been this guy and I've chastised those who were, but with this nerf-date I feel the time is right. So I say let's increase the crybabies' salt water output 100 fold.
From now on when you post in the recruitment forum only accept players with Gjallarhorn! It's time to punish the crybabies for their covetous ways. They've gotten what they wanted, but we can enjoy their tears by [i]really[/i] excluding them until the nerf takes effect.
*Update* To my fellow Gjallarhorn Guardians, I have created Ps4 Gjallarhorn only threads in recruitment for Raids, POE and Nightfall. If an Xbox player would create for theirs as well that would be great. Good Hunting Gjallarhorn Guardians.

It's a -blam!-ing gun in a -blam!-ing game get over your life I own it have owned it for a long time and I use it very rarely mainly raids but you know what better than gally in both raids and in most of HOW black hammer use that way more than gally

The "Awaiting ninja justice" seems to be a common classification of decent threads that get too much attention. This is the second time I've seen it.

1 ReplyBungie really screwed this up. They make it the be all end all holy grail weapon, say they're nerfing it, then exclude it all together. 1 ReplyI like the idea of the nerf actually. It'll make players use more skill with primary and secondary weapons. Same strategies will apply to raids and skolas but you might have to fire an extra rocket at crota or rotate a bunch more in the arena, etc. These are supposed to be epic boss battles anyway not sitting around waiting 5 minutes for your heavy cooldown.

No, the response shouldn't be punish others by requiring all to have the gally. The response should be from Bungie as to why we are all being punished for a few on a 3rd party website. Justification for all other reasons are invalid. Speculations don't matter. All that is required is a reasonable response from Bungie as to why we are being punished for this 3rd party problem and if going forward we all will have to be punished for future 3rd party shenanigans. Also, since I have no control what happens there, should gamers be recruited to police these 3rd party lfg websites on behalf of the rest of us who are made to suffer their punishment? The questions are numerous and highly unusual imo.

2 RepliesI'm going to bump this. But in all honesty they aren't going to go back on it. Because that shows they have lost control to the masses which is what they don't want. They want the control they are trying to increase the play time by making all the bosses we have beat over 9000 times harder. I Will miss my baby, my bumbling little Gjallarhorn. But my TTK will give us something we can appreciate and increase our playtime by means other than just making it take 10 years to complete a strike. If not than the same stuff is going to happen. People leaving the game, people posting they are gonna leave and not do it, people who don't care, and the fanboys. Oh well right?
