Is Destiny One of the Greats?
Fact: There is a debate about how good or bad Destiny is.
But is it a great game or not? In the future do you think that we will list Destiny with such instantly classic titles as Halo, Gears of War, Half-Life, Mass Effect, Call of Duty or Portal? Does the fact that there is a debate at all answer the question for us?
We have all played brilliant games and we have also played bad ones.

Those games listed are Total Packages of Greatness will only a small amount of things that can tarnish them. They are also games that have influenced those in it wake. Destiny only really shines in one area and falls short everywhere else.

Gameplay and memories, yes. Business decisions. Nope. Not even close. But Destiny will always have a soft spot in my heart no matter how much I want kill Bungie for their business choices right now

I think so yes, but I wouldn't play it for the rest of my life because there will be sequels for this game. Why play destiny when there is destiny 2: shoot more oddly named bad guys ?

NOPE. And I can prove it to you. I would not tell my friends to buy this game. I WOULD shove a fallout 3 into their console, sit their ass down, put a controller in their hands and leave them for a couple of hours It most definitely had the potential which is the reason it broke preorder records back before release. The optimist in me could say it STILL has the potential

Mass Effect is gaming history. Destiny is also gaming history...in the sense of us looking back and wondering why we ever played it.

Destiny is a great game. The best first person shooter of all time. No other game even comes close. If i want a story I'll watch a movie, if I want action I'll fire up the ps4 and take off for the stars.

Edited by Big Sxy3512: 7/9/2015 1:32:42 AMI used to think so, but I'm way too bored with it now. Have to play nightfall x3, weeklies x3, Poe 32, 34, 35. Way too much just to keep people playing. Switched back to halo mcc and having a blast. I'll come back, but not until things change a bit.

Great at making money Great at creating cool trailers Great at hyping up the game before it ever released But completely wasted all that potential on horrible decisions. It cost $100 to make this feel like a full game instead of a chopped, half assed product. It's fun, but damn sure not the product most people envisioned.
