The Randomness of Loot Drops
This is something I've been discussing with my friends on Playstation. I wonder if there is anything that can be done about the supposed randomness of item drops. It seems strange that I've been playing since the game came out and Gjallahorn or Hawkmoon have not dropped for me yet I hear about people getting their 3rd or 4th one. It also seems that people who are mediocre in Crucible get legendary and exotics more often, typically who is ever in the 3rd/4th rank of the match. Anyone else notice this?

It is a hard thing to fix. Me and some clan buddies were discussing it, one of the guys I was playing with was at almost 100 VoG completions and they still didn't have Corrective Measures. We said "wouldn't it be great if they had a "raid" vendor that sold raid items once you made 10, 25, & 50 completions like IB?" Make it so exotics can't be bought (sorry Vex hunters) since...you know...they are supposed to be exotic, but make the rest of the guns and armor available. I did my 49th CE NM completion last week and got the Black Hammer for the first time, I almost fell out of my chair, literally the only reason I still played NM. Now I can focus on HM for that damn Crux for a weapon I don't even want :)

I had the same issues, now I have everything, and get Hawkmoon and gjallahorn quite consistently.
