So Destiny Is Becoming Gears of War
The games are both being ruined by the over powered shot gun. I'm glad the special ammo spawn is decreased but matchmaking games seem to be all shot gun and no primary.
They should make the shot gun a two shot kill. This would make melee more used and it would require the player to track it's target or get a faster firing shot gun and not one with longer range.
This would nerf the weapon but make everything a lot more balanced.

Two completely different games. I actually like the shotguns in gears and enjoy getting into fights with them, unlike destiny where they just piss me off.

The GoW shotgun actually takes skill to use and master. It's not just aim and shoot like Destiny.

Please. GoW shot gunning takes WAY more skill than this game. It's all about movement more so than this game, on both sides! Plus with actives you should never have a bad kid get you with a shotgun. Let's not even talk about kids with modded controllers and hammerbursts (GoW3). Some primary's are so good in this game you don't even need a shotgun.

2 RepliesIf you want to nerf the shotgun damage, nerf the Ram first. Between a maxed Titan and [b]Sunsinger[/b] Warlock at lv 34, (without the Flame Shield) the Warlock shouldn't out tank hands down.

Literally every game in the history of ever has a massively overpowered shotgun, by definition shotguns are meant to be close range one-hit-killers.
