I hope im wrong about this. When im looking the ps store, there is no vanilla Destiny. Only options are either Destiny Digital guardian Edition (99€), free demo or Expansion pass and expansions themselves.
If this is really true then im REALLY -blam!-ing dissapointed to you Bungie. Removing the original game and only selling expansion bundles is shamefull, but i really hope that i just have a bug in my Ps store.
Look for yourself if you can find it.
Edit: Digital Guardian edition 99€. Vanilla Destiny, TdB and HoW.
Taken king edition 89€. Vanilla Destiny, TdB, HoW and TK.
There is literally something wrong with your pricing Bungie and Activision.

1 ReplyMeh. Vanilla destiny is on sale for $15 at Best Buy
-
1 ReplyI'm guessing that in much the same way that 95% of the vanilla game is now locked behind The Taken King, Activision have removed the vanilla Destiny (what little content is left in the vanilla that is) in order to give players no other choice but to buy Destiny with TTK if they want to play the game. Basically they're saying that whether you are a new player or a returning player you must now purchase TTK if you want to play Destiny.

1 ReplyEdited by BallisticsMC: 10/5/2015 11:24:10 AMwell just last month they started selling the legendary edition for 59.99 including all the expansions. kind of a slap in the face to people who paid 140 dollars to get the expansions separately with the game
-
it's the same on xbox.

3 RepliesThe strawberry edition and chocolate edition are on sale instead, along with the mint and fruit crunch editions that are in limited supply at your local dairy store ;)
-
1 ReplyOn XBL if there's a bundle that's the same price as the original game the original is locked. Perhaps that's the case.
-
2 RepliesI can't pre-order taken King $39.99 on PS store cause I haven't bought the season pass when I bought Dark below & House of Wolves separate. So Bungie lie again
-
I'm sure you can find a used copy cheap
-
2 RepliesIf you really wanted to game I'm sure that every game store will have the base game available.

4 RepliesDestiny: Legendary Edition is not a separate game, it's a rerelease Similar to Dragons Dogma; Dark Arisen. It replaces the pre-existing version of the game, bundles dlc along with it to keep selling the game at the same price. In other words, it's not coming back.
-
Probably because people were still able to buy the original collectors edition, and get the exclusives. My friend purchased the wrong collectors edition on accident , got the ghost, ship and emblem, then realized it was the wrong one, called Sony and got a refund, but was able to keep exclusives

7 RepliesJust looked at the PS4 store. I don't see vanilla Destiny anywhere.
-
The Chocolate Edition kept trying to rob it!!!!!!
-
1 ReplyThe Vanilla edition is the digital guardian edition as far as I'm aware
-
12 RepliesSo buy a disk. They are like $5 now

1 ReplyIn the UK they want £40 for ttk dlc but the legendary with EVERYTHING is £42 what a fking joke! some retarded halfwit is in charge of their pricing.
-
3 RepliesHow horrible of them to offer all dlcs plus the vanilla for $20 more than they charged for the original game Stop looking for things to complain about

2 RepliesThe ps store is glitching out with destiny right now, a lot of people are having issues starting their games, it's telling them that they have to wait 90 days to open it. Looks to me like don't screwed up putting the preorder for ttk into their store.
-
7 RepliesNewcomers don't need vanilla Destiny. They can just wait 3 months and literally buy everything for $60.
-
4 RepliesMy money is on they can't figure a way to separate the expansions without causing bugs. Easiest solution: package it altogether.
