The hunter Gunslinger exploit should be a bannable offence because the play is knowingly use a bug, glitch, whatever you want to call it to gain and advantage over the other players in game. To me that the definition of cheating therefor bannable.
Edit: This community is one of the worst communities ever. "Oh let use the broken game mechanic to our advantage because we suck at the game and can't play legit because we are horrible people"

Edited by cmelton33: 6/14/2015 5:14:29 AMNot banable but frowned upon.

Dont -blam!-ing ban the players, they ate playing the damn game, just fix the -blam!-ing game.

1 ReplyCan anyone tell me what the exploit is
-
I don't even use the "bug" and I don't mind it, quit being a little sour puss baby
-
Don't even use my hunter, except for completing the pve end game stuff. I hate the class. Still don't think it's a banable offence. It's low, but not banable.

your SOOOOOO salty

How bout all supers bannable offences? Why not?

Unfortunately you have to use the saying "if you can't beat em, join em" I never used thorn before trials now it's all I use because it makes me MORE competitive. I have always used a hunter but I've used blade dancer, now if I'm getting killed by gg every other round, I'm going to be do my best to counter that by in turn getting golden gun every other round. It sucks but you have to adapt.

Not until Bungie speak up about it.
-
Please, just go away!! So many of these damned post an polls. STFU an GTFO.

Don't get all salty. Be mad at Bungie for being lazy.

24 RepliesEdited by xROGUExSKILLZx: 6/14/2015 5:18:07 AMUtilizing two abilities that stack with a grenade that currently adds super energy per hit is Utilizing your resources. I know it is meant to be per kill, but it is a bug on bungies end, not the players. With this same logic, utilizing blink-shotgun or slide-shotgun is also an exploit, providing one player with an advantage over another. Both of these tactics are counterable. You have to walk through the swarm for it to work. In addition, it doesn't work every single time. I've tried it firsthand. Didn't work every time. Keep your distance from the shotgunners. Simple. Not a bannable offence. It's strategy. Edit: most replies I've gotten on anything lol. Nothing like stimulating conversation.

If its a strategy, it shouldn't be called "cheating". Look at baseball and the hidden ball trick. It feels bad to have it done to you, but it is a strategy, and it works. Or in football, there are trick plays, like fake handoffs and so on... but these are competitive sports, and you don't hear these athletes complain about it.

21 RepliesSo let me get this right...I equip 2 pieces of armor I EARNED while playing destiny..then i use a grenade that's BUILT into the hunter class...and that's some how cheating or a reason to get banned? Shut up scrub u sound like a bitch, when I c a female dog I think of you..I might have to ask my mom for a tampon so I could send it to this little bitch on the forums.

Waaaaahhhhhh. You're such a tit. Stop crying.

3 Replies"gain an advantage over the other players," how do people not know that this has a counterplay that turns a swarm grenade into a super for your whole team. The swarm projectiles can each be killed and if done so in specific ways you can get an instant super for one button press (and prevent the gunslinger from getting his).

If bungie has known about this for awhile and its still not patched why would they ban people for using it now. I see it as this, like the loot cave exploit, it was patched because it got out of hand. If the golden gun glitched, or whatever you want to call it, gets out of hand and every hunter, or every other hunter, is using it its gonna get patched. Srry for long post.

Yes ban them

Offense*

3 RepliesWhat about Bad Juju obsidian mind combo? Should warlocks be banned to?
-
1. If you see there grenades shoot one of them they'll pop and you dont have to worry about them
-
13 RepliesThen shouldn't bounty glitch and wolves chest be bankable and the instant final round glitch also be bannable
-
7 RepliesIf that's the case then farming the wolves chest before patch is ban worthy. It is taking advantage of a known exploit. Also doing the bounty glitch is an exploit. Should we all be banned for that too
-
Cannot be banned because it's a glitch in the game. That's like getting banned for doing the heavy ammo glitch at crota
-
4 RepliesIt isn't a bannable offense by any means. I've never used it, nor do I intend to (I don't use Hunter in Crucible much and when I do I use blade dancer), but it's just combining perks for maximum effect like many other combos (most notably similar is Bad Juju/Obsidian Mind, albeit on a smaller scale). If that maximum effect is above what Bungie intended due to an issue on their part, that isn't the player's problem.
