The hunter Gunslinger exploit should be a bannable offence because the play is knowingly use a bug, glitch, whatever you want to call it to gain and advantage over the other players in game. To me that the definition of cheating therefor bannable.
Edit: This community is one of the worst communities ever. "Oh let use the broken game mechanic to our advantage because we suck at the game and can't play legit because we are horrible people"

absolutely not
-
The only way this would be a ban offence is if Bungie issue a warning.

4 RepliesAwe people don't agree with you? Might as well just say that everyone sucks and cheats and cry some more. Grow up moron
-
The results of this poll disgust me
-
2 RepliesI don't use the glitch but let me point out the flaw in your argument: By your definition, anyone using The Last Word should be banned.
-
i think it should only be ban-able if its used heavily in PvP to win, but otherwise nah just let em have fun till they fix it
-
Warlock chiming in. If it's an effective use of in game mechanics, then it should not be banable. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be looked at and fixed.
-
1 ReplyIt's not something for us to decide. Bungie will make the call and decide if such action should be taken. That said, the exploit definitely needs to be fixed and I'm certain it will be soon. There have been threads like this popping up all day so it's only a matter of time before we see something happen.
-
3 RepliesIts cheap. Not bannable until they release a news update saying so if they do then it would be. More realistic is they fix it so it works as intended off kills not hits by a hotfix.
-
Oh let use the broken game mechanic to our advantage That is literally every game ever. And I disagree, have you played Pokemon? Or ever heard of things called gameshark and what ever the new one is. Seriously, I wouldn't be overly dramatic about this. It's a -blam!-ing game.
-
1 ReplyBy definition yes if used in crucible. It is making use of incorrectly coded abilities and negatively impacting others gaming experience. Will people be banned? Doubt it. Could they have their gear stripped? Probably.
-
The community is bad because they are using a grenade? That is a new one.
-
Warlocks had an infinite revive glitch that was used quite a bit. Don't think anyone got banned for that.
-
Of course not you idiot.
-
9 RepliesIt's the same as the loot cave, or farming the ether chests, or the Iron Banner glitch, or the heavy ammo glitch, or the Atheon/Templar 'push' exploit. It's their fault and they will eventually fix it. No bans. I don't do this current exploit, but if I cared enough about PVP you bet ur ass I'd be doing it until they fixed it. It's only useful in 6v6 anyways, mainly control where everyone is bunched together. Your whole team would have to go full retard in order to get caught with the swarm in trials, and even then it wouldn't be that much of a super boost.
You never go full retard.
16 RepliesEdited by Apollo: 6/14/2015 5:40:29 AMThey cannot ban you because they are using a gltich, otherwise any person using The Last Word would also be banned Using the glitch is NOT cheating, cheating is using modifications from an outside source For example, things like aimbot, wall hacks, lag switch, or DDOS attacks would be bannable because they come from an outside source that influences the game The pre mentioned glitch is a part of the game and is on the fault of the developers(who are working to fix the glitch) and not the player themselves.

2 RepliesIt's a scumbag move but it isn't something people should get banned for. #BlameBungie
-
1 ReplySomeome is butthurt

In termsof black and white - yes. Exploiting any flaw is cheating.....BUT (in my experience anything before the word but doesn't count) should players using it be banned? Absolutely not. Yes its an exploit. But you know what. How many people were banned for the loot cave? How many of us were banned for pushing Templar and Aetheon off the map? How many of us were banned for jumping to the outside sniper spots on templar? Itll be patched prompted i have no doubt about that and then all you crucible people can go back to doing whatever you guys do.
-
To be honest. Titans and warlocks can do the same Damn thing.
-
3 RepliesJust fix the thing in the next update
-
7 RepliesEdited by sergeantsnipes05: 6/14/2015 5:25:55 AMThey are using a grenade and an armor piece. It's not their fault that Bungie has bad code. You can't seriously want to ban people for using a grenade This shouldn't even be an issue. Swarm grenades are so easy to avoid

1 ReplyWhat is this glitch you speak of?
-
3 RepliesSo insulting your fellow players and trying to get them banned for a non bannable offense is good for the community?
-
Edited by cmelton33: 6/14/2015 5:14:29 AMNot banable but frowned upon.
