Your feelings on final round snipers?
With an epidemic of final round snipers coming every Friday-Monday, now seems like a good time to bring up the idea of changing them. What are your thoughts on the final round perk enabling body shot kills?
Edit: This would remove final round from all snipers and replace it with another perk.
Edit: Final round has been removed from new snipers but old snipers still have it. A nerf would remove it from old snipers.

Final Round on snipers is stupid imo, I've purposely not used it because it's cheap. No one should be able to one shot with a body shot.

If you abuse it, you're a bit of a bitch. If you just snipe normally and take advantage of it when it pops up I don't see anything wrong with it.

Stupid as hell, takes no skill. The trials are a joke & anybody that uses it is a joke. But hey, those are my 2 cents.

3 RepliesIt's just another super cheep thing people do in destiny. We went 5-0 on a team today that was all thorn/final round spears. It's not unbeatable but is totally powerful

Never used it on my spears, but it sucks playing against it in trials, every match you can hear the ammo dump at the start and know what they are trying to do, annoying, but can be dealt with. I'm not a fan of having some of my favorite perks removed though with HoW, field scout was a great perk, now it takes even more rerolls for a similar perk...

They can stay but I find it ridiculous that you can snipe my elbow and I die.

Its a cheap tactic for terrible snipers who cant land headshots. Nothing more annoying than starting a round and hearing them fire off the rounds.

I'm fine with Final Round because anyone had a chance to get a SR with one, even if it was a blue/rare sniper, they are still great in PvP my Spear got rolled from AP and Final Round to just Arc and FR for Skolas fight I have an awesome SR now that's 365 for those Arc Burn Nightfalls I've killed a few people with the FR in Crucible, it feels dirty, or at least I felt dirty when I did it, so I stopped using my Spear in PvP winning is winning, do what you have to do

The people who "waste" ammo to just use the final round are the problem.

6 RepliesI would love a final round myself, I'm hoping that Iron Banner will drop Dark Below Spears. As HoW Spears cannot have final round. I do think they're pretty rediculous but it's easy to avoid.

Final Round is not an issue by itself. But if you ammo dump to abuse it then you're a tool. I use every round in my mag, aim for the head regardless of whether or not it's the last one, and have never once ammo dumped my efrideet's. I have used my last round to quick scope at close range multiple times, however. But that's mostly a reflex when a shotgun or exotic HC user tries to get in close.

They should be removed just because you can't have them anymore from rerolls. If they ve taken out from the new rerolls, so it's clear that they don't want it. So make it that it doesn't one shot anymore

I never noticed until a few weeks ago in the forum. lol All because the german translation reads: "The last round on this weapon does bonus PRECISION-damage." And since its a sniper and they already are a one shot kill in the head, i never used the perk. lol
