I dislike Xûr in general, and don't think he should exist. I think since Exotics are supposedly the rarest of the rare, you should be required to put in more effort than you would buying a hot dog from a street vendor. Of course, for him to be obsolete, a better loot system would be needed. One that rewards skill, rather than luck. I suppose with the upcoming crucible update, we're one step closer to that being a possibility. That all said, one additional reason is because it renders all of the cool weapons I got from raids and otherwise nothing special. No discerning factor between a weapon won with blood sweat and tears and one bought by a soccer mom shopping at JCPenny

I had 3 Thunderlords before he sold it. Got my first one from NF, then another one from a blue engram, & the 3rd from a legendary engram.
