How difficult is it to stay alive...
When killing Crota, why can't ppl just stay alive while sword runner kills. I swear it's not that difficult
Let's raise awareness by posting a video on how to do crota hard, with every character, all possible details, so issues like this get eliminated

2 RepliesHad a noob for HM last night and was using a hunter with blade dancer.After he died 7 times in a row because he couldn't run fast enough and/or jump high enough I inspected him and told him how to set up his blade dancer to max agility and jump since I also run a hunter.After that he didn't die again and was thankful.He wasn't mad at all and welcomed the advice.

When you die as a sword bearer, it's not that bad cause your the guy who has to slice an ancient God to death. When your teammates die it's horrible cause all they had to do was shoot the other guys in a room

last night when running to the ogre room I called out a cursed thrall behind the pillar...... I get killed by it, thanks rahool!! Seriously, glitches make it a little harder. when everything runs smooth it's a tasty raid

They should put raid match making where it's puts ppl with the same IQ in the same match... Some teams might never get it done

Entitlement contributes to this. If we keep kickin the 31s until they are 32 then they won't have the dodge skills needed to do Crota hard. So when they start it causes grief. It also doesn't help when people don't have patience. If your rushing through Crota then a mistake will be made.

Had some dude die three times in a row from ogres last night...finally told him to just sit in the crystal room and we beat crota.

I have no problems staying alive with my Warlock or my Titan. But for some damn reason I die a couple of times during Crota Hard. Maybe need more practice. I just made him a month ago.

When I first ran Crota hard I thought it was impossible to stay alive and/or not take serious damage... Now I'm shocked if I run it and take any damage at all. I think it takes some getting used to, how to position yourself, where to run and not to run... It's inevitable you'll take some damage (and there will be fluke deaths), but know-how coupled with health regen capabilities makes it relatively easy to go through Crota HM unscathed.

i dont get why people even get hit once during the crystal activation. i have tried from all parts of that room and as long as your not standing there waiting to get hit its pretty easy to keep full health

Bad connection and glitches are all valid reasons but kinda out of scope. I'm referring to the times where players decide to do things like I don't know, stab the hollowed Knight to generate orb and dying from it, WTF
