Best way to get consumables?
I'm pretty glimmer broke from Iron Banner, and I'm also starting to run low on ether seeds. What's the best/most efficient way to get glimmer consumables? Do any of the speaker emblems make a difference?
Note: I realize the emblem buff rumor has been debunked. However, I seems to get a lot more engram drops when using Blessing of the Gifted. This could just be a placebo effect, but I still use it for that reason.

6 RepliesGet the checkpoint for gatekeeper atheon on normal kill everything but gatekeeper wipe repeat. Get 25 glimmer in about 40 minutes

Exclusion Zone drops a lot along with already glimmer farming.

90% of mine have come while in patrols for bounties.

1 ReplyEven without the consumable you will earn ok glimmer from exclusion zone on heroic. Plus do that once or twice and you will get a consumable drop. Then rinse repeat until you get bored / hit 25k glimmer. I reckon you get about 5per half hour net of the ones you use. For Black Wax Idol I rinse / repeat the three yellow Hive underground in the steppes on cosmodrome patrol. Never had to farm either of the others I'm afraid so can't help there, other than suggesting heroic missions (more yellows than strikes). Hope this helps.
