Controversial opinion: I actually like playing Destiny 2
I know, I know, its pretty scary to hear it but just wanted to say I like playing Destiny 2! Im sure none of you civil forum goers will be opposed to that :)

[spoiler]Obviously you guys can see theres sarcasm in this post, but I do believe criticism DOES belong in the forums, Im not trying to say anyone who criticizes the game is bad, but you (the person reading this) and I both know where criticism is being civil, and when it becomes a -blam!-ing tantrum. So dont come to me with your Karen-ass attitude saying that calling Bungie devs -blam!- and saying the game shit and everyone else who plays the game is shit for liking it. Grow the -blam!- up. Ironically, I've been having more fun in the last few weeks than since season of dawn. No fomo, since I already have everything I want. No chasing pinnacles, since my hunter (my main character) is 1060. Been playing my titan a lot, remembering how to best use abilities. Been helping some clanmates do things I already have, just for the hell of it. It reminds me of the times I used to play just to hang out with friends. My paradigm has changed and I'm enjoying the game again. Hopefully, it will carry over into the next season, given that I don't care anymore what bungie's trying to direct me into doing. I just do what I what and ignore the rest.

That's good. I also enjoy playing D2. Except when the hamster wheel is spinning lifelessly into the void of eververse, blue and purple items, and endless power grind for no reason. They just need to make dungeons for the rest of this decade. Id buy all of them.

And nothing wrong with that. This game got me through some dark times. Then I got angry at D2 and after a while came to realised that being angry with a game made by a faceless corporation out to make a profit (seemingly at any cost) was futile. Been helping a friend who just jumped in via whatsapp as I haven't felt like logging in in a while. I have headcannoned that my Exo titan main has gone into standby as his systems run diagnostics on his faulty left ankle (rl offroad accident in Jan ending up in a plate and artificial tendon). So yeah still involved indirectly there. That and coming on here talking to the local trolls in my broken Afrikaans and playing with my polite insult quest when I see people calling others asking for more options entitled. Good luck and eyes up Guardian.
