Crota and his generals stay higher up to direct the battle. The army jumps down and are greated by the Templar. The 5 Gatekeepers charge in and eye blast the Templar. No effect the templar decimates them. Crota orders his army away from its sight. Omnigul sees the Vex running into the conflux and senses something bad from this ritual she orders thrall and knights to stop the sacrifice. Fanatics start catching the Hive off guard and kill a gate keeper just by it's infection. Ir Yut's song kills Vex periodically but not quick enough to stop the new waves. Crota senses desperation and orders the cursed thrall to collide with the Fanatics also taking out surrounding Vex. Glowing lights start chiming in and out. Crota has his remaining thrall, acolytes, and knights attack the oracles. Suddenly Hobgood in spawn and start picking off the army. Unfortunately the wizards have a weakness for Solar Line Rifles- Crota orders boomers and remaining Ogres to blast every Hobgoblin they see. Omnigul and Ir Yut fly over to the Hobgoblins in the back that are out of range. After going through waves it is silent and a shiny small energy shield sits in the middle crota is annoyed and jumps on it smashing it to bits with his sword. Suddenly the Templar appears. Crota sword lunges at him and shatters the Templar shield all the surrounding army shoots and Crota sword swipes instantly killing the Templar. Crota sends Omnigul in seeing it is a large room. She notices weird enemies below they glow with an intense light. She asks for Ir Yut to sing to vanquish them all. She succeeds but suddenly more come out and they seem to be on high alert she sings again...this time nothing happens as though they have gained immunity. So she sings louder and all the Gorgons look up and locked their gaze on Ir Yut erasing her from existance. Omnigul is luckily out of sight and reports it to Crota. Crota orders Omnigul to find a way out. Crota has a plan and lifts Sardon up and throws him to the middle of the maze. He activates his Burden of Darkness and weighs all the gorgons to the ground. Crota and his Ogres rush towards Omniguls exit and smash their way to the jumping puzzle. Sardon can no longer keep his lock and it fails the Gorgons regained their movement and erased Sardon. His sacrifice single handedly saved the entire army. Jumping Puzzle Crota Omnigul 2 Ogre Gatekeepers 10 boomer Knights 1 Wizard 3 sword bearers 8 sword knights Omnigul and the Wizard glides with ease down. Crota skips the sketchy platforms and does a massive leap down. Knights use the platforms some make it while others fall when the platforms vanish. Gatekeepers Atheon Crota Omnigul 5 sword knights 4 boomer Knights 1 Wizard 2 sword bearers Crota sees the gatekeeper in the middle and does a sword lunge obliterating it. Omnigul observed on of the portals open when a Knight stood on it. She orders them in she decided to enter the other portal. The knights rushed the Gatekeeper on Mars the Hobgoblins annihilated the remaining wizard and picked off some knights while the remaining knights and sworebearers took out the Hobgoblins and Praetorians and destroyed the gate keeper. Although the Gatekeeper goes off with a bang and no one survived. Omnigul entered the Gate realizing quickly that she was outgunned and decided to use the last trick up her sleave and summoned two shriekers that she gained dominion over after Ir Yut was erased. They gave her the perfect cover. She gracefully dodged the Gatekeepers attacks and unleaded a barrage of arc bolts and destroyed the gatekeeper. Suddenly her vision was darkening she was able to find the portals exits. Crota glanced over at her shrieking in madness as she plunged into darkness. Suddenly a large figure formed out of nowhere in mechanized sounds...Atheon. Crota barraged him with his hand blaster...barely a scratch. Atheon unleashes a Torrent of Void blasts and brings the god to his knees. Crota thinks on how this is possible and almost questions if he can destroy this mechanized monstrosity. But Crota quickly recovers his shield as well as his pride ready for a charge. Atheon raised his hand to the air. Crota did a mighty sword leap....and nothing....where am I? Suddenly an oracle chimes in Crota smashes it in one swoop and another his vision is dimming. He can no longer see his foes. A chorus of chimes almost taunting him. The vault re-writes Crota's purpose, his being, his very essence for some mysterious dark design. Time's Vengeance is unforgiving not even the soul can escape One day a green crystal reapers on earth. Eris has thoughat that Crota's terror is over. But it glows instead with a brilliant metalic silver and exolodes. Eris gets blown back by the Shockwave and sees a large figure. Atheon!!! He has found a way to escape the vault and now time will cease. (Atheon: I wouldn't of given that n00b the Mythoclast even if he did beat me)

    • On a neutral playing field, where Atheon cannot send Crota through portals and shit, and Crota cannot summon Oversouls and can be killed without a Sword and won't kneel down when his shield disintegrates... I'd say Atheon. That bastard can take a hell of a beating. (He has like, what, ~2 million HP? Crota only has ~250,000 HP)

    • Atheon hands down. Vex are from the past, present, and future. They prolly have everything on the brink of extinction in their future. Plus atheon would just send Crota back in time even if there was an over soul. Crota would be lost in time. Atheon just kills over soul. But also atheon could prolly summon a different Version of himself from a diff time period. Crota would ultimately lose no matter how many oversouls spawned.

    • Crota VS Atheon 1v1. All with their abilities. Crota fires some hand shots, damages Atheon Atheon fires at Crota, Crota kneels, no damage taken. Crota charges Atheon. Atheon fires, Crota kneels, shots hit Crota kneeling, no damage. Crota continues charge, slices Atheon. Atheon takes damage. Atheon teleports Crota Crota kills ads and oracles but cannot exit the portal. Crotas soon Enrages. Oversoul spawns. Atheon destroys Oversoul. Oversouls constantly spawn. Atheon eventually succumbs to the Oversouls. Rules were, you can't give either boss their tactical abilities such as teleports & portals, without giving the other theirs, such as oversoul. Both fights run the course as if fighting guardians, standard tactics. (No Atheon immediately wipes Crota from existence B.S) Even without tactical abilities, Crota would eventually beat Atheon as Atheon has no way to damage Crota. While Crota will always do damage (regardless how much.)

Crota would destroy Atheon. The fight would have to be in a neutral playing field because Atheon has no time altering abilities outside the vault and Crota has no oversoul and swordbearers outside of his realm. This would make the fight fair because there are lots of mechanics and hypotheticals that can alter the fight. Atheon only has the ability to fire his canon with around a 2 to 3 second sustained burst ( i will use his rapid fire mode) and stomp. It takes 4 canon shots to kill a 32 guardian or one stomp. Atheon is also very slow and can take damage from absolutely anything while also not having a shield. Crota can shoot projectiles from his hand ( dont know if continuously or bursts similar to atheon so i will use bursts just to keep it leveled) and has a sword to smash people with. It takes about 4 projectiles to kill a 32 guardian or 1 sword smash. Crota is also relatively fast and has a shield that can be shot down by anything but regenerates if you stop shooting for about 1 to 2 seconds. If youre able to take the shield down Crota will kneel for about 5 seconds. He also has health that can only be taken down with a swordbearers sword. So, with the info provided the fight would go something like this- When they meet each other they will immediately start shooting each other. Id say their long range attacks are equally powerful so Atheon will start losing health while crota will lose some shield. Crota will try to move closer to Atheon while both are bombarding each other with their attacks. Before Crota reaches Atheon his shield will go down and go on his knee. Atheon will still keep shooting to but no avail since Crota can only take damage from swords. Crota gets back up and moves next to atheon and starts swinging and taking health off. Atheon stomps and shoots Crota taking off shields making Crota kneel but not taking health. Crota just gets up and keeps swinging away. This keeps going until Atheon has no health. Winner= Crota This is how I think the fight would go. If you all have anything to add or mistakes I made please feel free to say something. Ill edit if correct. Sorry for the long ass wall of text. Edit: I would try and figure out who would win with both their powers but there isnt enough info on what crota is capable of inside of his realm. (I.e. what his soul we destroyed does, how he goes from his realm to ours( grimoire hints at vex gates and hive portal relationship), crota creating his own worlds at will, etc)

If it was crota vs atheon just head to head no glitches no only sword to kill crota or times vengeance for atheon. Crota would win, he has melee and a gun (fist that shoots?) atheon just has a gun crota would get close enough to use sword and beat him down Atheon may have melee but crota has epic sword

        • Atheon easily. He can shoot and Crota can only slash so by the time Crota gets close to Atheon, his health will be very low. Plus Crota is a scrub, the Templar or Fanatics would beat him.

We talking one on one, no mechnics or just full tactical crap? One on One it's Crota but tactically Atheon wins. If, however Atheon takes his vex army with him to Crota's world, here's what i think would happen. Atheon takes along with him: 200 Goblins 100 Hobgoblins 75 Harpys 50 Praetorians 10 Hydras 5 Gorgons (I am aware their power doesn't work outside the vault, just pretend it does.) Templar Sol Progeny Sekrion and The Undying Mind Zydron The Abyss: Screw junping in the hellmouth, the vex teleport straight to the abyss. Here the vex encounter some problems considering how slow their goblins and hobgoblins are. Atheon team work their way through, keeping the Gorgons around the army, keeping the goblins and hobgoblins from being left behind. The lamp explosions however, cost the Gorgons their health and cause losses to the army whilst thralls doing only little. When they reach the bridge, The Undying Mind stays on the sync plate whilst hobgoblins and praetorians focus on ogres and the rest on the thralls and knights. They cross safely losing only a few. Atheon's army after abyss: 180 Goblins 95 Hobgoblins 60 Harpys 45 Praetorians 10 Hydras 4 Gorgons All Ultras remain. The Bridge: Atheon sees the bridge before him, knowing the strategy and mechanics instantly. However, he sees 3 floating "Cylinders" to his left, knowing that could be a way across. Ignoring the Swordbearer and the Gatekeeper completely, Atheon gets everyone on the cylinders and uses himself as a bridge to get everyone across. Some fall off but the majority cross. In Crota's world, the Gorgons have limited power and can only wipe a few enemies at a time. Hobgoblins remain on the cylinders until the Ogres die. The rest form a circle on the otherside, the Hydras of both Ultra and non-major ranking guarding the rim, doing this causes Sekrion to die. The team kill everything and continue. Atheon's army after The Bridge: 110 Goblins 80 Hobgoblins 25 Harpys 35 Praetorians 6 Hydras 3 Gorgons All ultras except Sekrion remain. Templar and The Undying Mind are expected to die soon. Servitor room: This room was going to cause losses either way, but sonething had to be done. The Divisive Mind and The Imminent Mind are sent to sponge the servitor death blast and the cursed thrall explosions, they die. Everyone else banishes thrall and eventually jumps into the Deathsinger room. Atheon's Army after Servitor Room: 95 Goblins 70 Hobgoblins 10 Harpys 30 Praetorians 5 Hydras 3 Gorgons Templar is close to death Only the Primeval mind remains of the Sol Progeny Undying Mind is close to death Zydron Deathsinger: The remaining harpys are sent to lure out the wizards, resulting in their death. Hobgoblins and Goblins kill the wizards whilst Zydron and The Primeval Mind fend off Hallowed Knights and acolytes. Praetorians are sent to destroy the servitors and push towards Ir Yût. The forms of hydra guard the inside, unallowing anything from the outside to destroy the progressing Gorgons. The Gorgons, guarded by the praetorians, push foward to wipe the Deathsinger. Atheon supports the left outside team as more enemies are present there. The Undying mind, The Templar and thr last of the Sol Progeny fall just after Ir Yût was destroyed with Zydron being low on health. Atheon and the remainder of the army make their way to the summoning crystal. Considering the size of both Atheon and Zydron, they destroy parts of the fortress, causing debris to fall, causing the crushing death of the Gate Lord. They summon Crota. Atheon's army after the Deathsinger: 50 Goblins 20 Hobgoblins 10 Praetorians 2 Hydras 2 Gorgons No ultras but Atheon remain Crota. A dome is formed over the crystal once Crota is summoned, making up for the loss of roofing. It comes down and Atheon is quick to kill the useless acolytes and knights. Most make it out and makes their way to the bottom middle. Hobgoblins stay on the middle ledge to focus on boomers. A couple die on the way out, causing the Oversoul to spawn, but it is banished each time. Atheon fights Crota, Atheon gets him to his knees but Crota gets back up, due to the sword being his only weakness. Crota hits Atheon with his sword 3 times, only then ending his existence. The Overoul spawns one last time, only to wipe out the Vex army. It is done.
