Crazy finish in HM Crota! 3 Swordholders!
The group I raided with today just had the craziest last second finish to Hard Mode Crota!
We were using the "wallbanger" method, and our first swordbearer went down from the boomers.
Just watch until Crota falls, is a MUST WATCH!
Was fortunate to be the final swordbearer in this epic raid fight!
Edit: Some people may be confused.
I am not bragging that we beat Crota in three swords. I have beat home in two, three is nothing special, its in fact quite normal.
The point of the video is that our two most trusted carriers of the sword went down at different times, and I had to save the day before the oversoul wiped us all, or the sword disappeared.
I was pumped! So this was my heroic moment, that's all :D

1 ReplyFirst off awesome job right on the money. I have a question. Never been swordbearer on hard. Im usually sitting back with ghorn for shield. How did you take so much damage while crota was down? Was it just boomers? I assume everyone was panicking as was haha but holy clutch

Our 5 middle guys killed the oversoul while one guy peeled off, dodged the ogre fire, picked up the sword, and got 1 strike in the moment we downed him. We all wiped from 2nd Oversoul as Crota died and claimed our rewards.

1 ReplyGroup I was in last night always run a warlock with radiance as the sword bearer, stock him with orbs so his super is full and if this happens, which it did he can radiance and pick up the sword. Also on the second sword of a run he would try and get extra hits in, if he died we just pinged the oversoul and then he radianced. Unconventional but it worked.

1 ReplyLast night we were on the last sword and when I ran to get it a cursed thrall killed me. Luckily I had self rez and as I was making it to the rock my teammates took care of the oversoul then quickly downed crota, on the 2nd takedown when he enraged 2 teammates died from thrall windows so only 3 guys were dpsing him while he summoned his oversoul. Was insane. Oh and the run before that I accidentally enraged him after the 2nd sword so we were all in the ogre room and was like...wdf?
