Husk of the Pit drop a scam?
Alright, So I kid you not when I say I have spent all day (7 hours) farming for the Husk of the Pit in both 'Fist of Crota' and patrols. I have literally been killing nothing but Blades, so much in fact that I have fully upgraded two Raid Gear items and my Hard Light. I'm seriously stressed out about this. All my friends seem to just jump into a random match and get it their first try. Is it possible that I'm seriously just extremely unlucky, or is Destiny screwing with me?
Getting super freaking aggravated with this.

I was just doing the bounty and there it was.

I just got it today wasn't looking for it just dropped the from the first blade carrier I killed on the moon doing a bounty . But I agree it's just so random.

The problem is you're looking for it. Just do bounties every day and kill sword bearers as you come across them. Eventually it will fall. Otherwise you are wasting time better spent elsewhere. It's not good until you hit Crota's Bane Lvl. 3 anyway.

3 RepliesGo on Fist of Crota mission, skip past Omnigul, kill the Blade of Crota, go to orbit, rinse and repeat.

Not to rub it in but I've had 4 drop while doing patrol bountys in the passed week.

I still haven't got it either but everyone else I told about it got it straight away. I'm not farming for it anymore if it drops it drops.

Took my 8 hours to get mine i shit not then yesterday i just wanted to knock out melee kill 30 bounty so I did fist of Croat 2 times in a row just to the sword part and got husk of pit both times... Talk bout kick in the nuts after 8 hours of grinding

I got it last night. It dropped twice in a row for me. B4 that I did and felt the same way u did. Stretch the farming out a bit. Different times but always stick to ur same place.

I'm on day 6 farming constantly for it. I gotta have 12+ hours now dedicated to this thing and it still hasn't dropped.

It's RNG,you could do it a million times and not get it.and I doubt you fully upgraded an exotic from killing blades

I got mine at a random event on earth wasn't even trying for it

No I literally just got it from Fist of Crota doing a kill 3 blade of crotas bounty. It dropped on the 3rd kill
