I pronounce the J as a Y, and I DO pronounce the G. Comes out something like:
Gee-Yal-ur-horn
I'm terrible at writing out how things are pronounced BTW.
[spoiler]On semi-related note: does anyone else pronounce 'Atheon' as A-thon? Everyone I know says it as A-thee-on, which just sounds awkward to me. For what it's worth, I also pronounce 'evangelion' as e-van-jel-on.[/spoiler]
