If anything SWTOR showed us that people will not stick around for a mmo no matter how great it is. and Bungie cannot create content faster than peoples interest dropping.

2 RepliesWho is this 'most' guy, and why is he not gonna play anymore?
-
I would like to keep playing, and this has been a fun game, but if DLC is expensive or unreasonably content light, then I will not buy it. I will play PVP on old maps like I used to do on COD before COD got as bad as it is now.
-
1 ReplyI will, great game, well done Bungie.
-
I am playing it!
-
2 RepliesDestiny strictly speaking is not an MMO. And I have purchased the expansion pack DLC, so roll on December!
-
I find your lack of faith disturbing...
-
I will, I already did and I love this game.
-
1 ReplyAlready bought, and I will probably never stop playing. Favorite game.

1 ReplyThis game is a prime example of why I only buy the $60 version of games. I got my money's worth with Destiny, so I don't regret buying it in that regard, but I didn't get the game that was advertised to me & I have zero desire to throw more money at it. Nope. My money is going to DAI next month.

You don't know me!

I just preordered the Dlc last night. I've gotten way more playtime out of this game then a lot of other games recently. I don't mind paying for more playtime.
your opinion is not mine
6 RepliesDestiny is not an MMO. SWTOR was not great.

You're half right, most people won't buy the DLC. You're half wrong because it isn't for the reason you stated, it's because they already have it. Every single edition of the game except the standard edition included a season pass to the next two DLC's.

2 RepliesBungie has already started taking steps to fix issues, if they learn from companies like Square then they will have no problems.
-
You're right i wont buy it... Its already included in my DGE.
-
Good, less competition

1 Replyi am not buying the dlc and im still sticking around. :)

True! On the other hand, the majority of players never buy DLC for any game. In fact, the majority of players don't even play 50% of the games they buy for more than a few hours (if at all). I think you're right that a majority of the people who bought Destiny won't stick around. But that's fine. A minority will, and more people will come to the game (or return to it) as new content is released. Like any MMO, Destiny's player base will grow and shrink between new content. It's interesting that you chose SWTOR as your example. Another MMO released around the same time shows us a very different example. FFXIV was largely considered to be an unplayable mess when it was released, with vocal critics calling it one of the worst MMOs ever and fans loudly accusing Squarenix of lying to them and cheating them. If you've spent any time on this forum that will sound familiar to you. Three years later FFXIV is a huge success, with a constantly growing player base and glowing reviews. Squarenix listened to complaints and spent a lot of time fixing problems and building the game into what they promised it would be. I don't know if Destiny will go through the same transformation, but SWTOR and FFXIV offer two valuable but different lessons that Bungie can learn from.

I'm getting it, Where is the proof to your ridiculous statement?

How wrong you are is not even funny.
