I was just wondering if I'm the oldest Destiny player... How old are you? (ok...I'm 51)
Just curious to confirm it. I still play with my son ! (26): All Halo games (CE, 3, 4, ODST, Reach) Battefield 4, Crysis 3 - Xbox 360 . And I'll play as long as I can see the TV screen.
[b]Updating - 09/29/14[/b]: After 20 days playing Destiny at evenings + a couple of hours on weekends, I achieved level 27 yesterday night with my hunter char \o/ !! (My son is level 25 hahaha lol !!!! Cry baby, cry!! )
[b]Updating - 10/25/14:[/b] After 45 days playing Destiny (3 hours per day + 5 on Sat and Sunday) I'm level 29 now. I went three times to the VoG Raid and I do not have my armour completed yet :-/ ( ... Tired...) I bought some exotics weapons from Xûr (Ice Breaker sniper and Suros Regime rifle...) and have gained a lot of legendary weapons as well. My son is behind me: level 28 \o/ hahaha. Lets see the DLCs .
(I'm thinking about to write a book about the history / stories that you told in this post...they are amazing ! Thanks guys for share a small part of your life!)

37. Got my start on the Collecovision with Donkey Kong, The Smurfs, and Cosmic Avenger. I recall teaching my mom to play Smurfs when I was 5 years old and laughing my head off watching her physically jump on the couch but not press those side buttons and being confused when she ran into a fence instead of jumping over it. Me: "Mom, you have to jump!" Mom: "I did!" Me: "hahahaha!" Lol Good times

3 RepliesMy husband is 47 and I am 42 and we play Destiny (and other games) together with a group of over 30's. We have fun with it. It is cheap entertainment!!! I will admit my reflex's are not what they use to be :-/ but im a lvl 29 Warlock and can still hold my own most of the time even in PvP :-) I have been a gamer from Atari on lol. We are on the PS4. And agreed!! as long as they keep making glasses and big enough TV screens, I will continue to play!!! Happy Gaming!!!

My wife loves that I am enjoying my time after hours saving the earth ( I suppose that's because there are worse things husbands can do after hours). Video games keep my youthful spirit alive!

30 myself. Been gaming for over 23 years. (I can't remember exactly when I started lol). My first system was a Sega Genesis that was given to me by a neighbor due to it conflicting with his study time. Been hooked ever since.

2 RepliesI'm 41 and have been playing games for about 30 years. I've got a PS4 and my son (19) has just bought destiny so as we can team up and I can help him with story missions, bounties etc. He is good at PvP which I am not. Currently level 21 Titan.

43 here, and obssesed with Destiny... I am buying another PS4 setup in the next few days to get my 12 year old son aboard... I can't wait to get to play with him on a fireteam...:)

57 soon to be 58, and I know there are older... I suck at any console game! But the graphics simply pull me in.... When I play its to have fun, I don't have a problem being a target! Never played on consoles until recently. PvP - forget it! :)
