Bungie, I just spent 73 minutes trying to solo birthplace of the vile on grandmaster. I like a challenge but seriously -blam!- OFF with the ability spam/immunity buffs that the captains can spawn at will. This is not fun, it does not make someone better at the game and completely discourages from even attempting higher end content. You need to get this sort of fun killing mechanic in check.

I think activities should scale difficulty depending on fire team size. Less players = less difficult. Same goes for dungeons and raids.

I mean... You decided to take on a challenge that is meant for 3 players. 🤔 I agree with the spam bit but again, it's not meant to be done solo.

And not just immunity as far as I’m concerned, the void lava pool is annoying as well, red bars who are more tanky than an orange…

I ran the Vanguard Alert solo, the immunity totems are a real pain, and the fact that they scale with the delta, means that a full mag of primary needs to be used to remove them. Only for another to pop up immediately after its broken. It took quite a few attempts to get my solo/flawless clear yesterday. -50 power, with banes that are as spongy as mini-bosses is not fun. I miss old GM's... thats what these Alerts were supposed to replace, but with random rotating mods, I just log in and look at the mod list, then either try or log out depending on what is available. Its kind of my gripe with the whole portal system now, depending on what mods are available that day, I often decide that nothing is worth playing in Portal at all. Waiting for a day where the mods are in my favor.
