Can the heavy metal weapons drop as tier 5 prime engrams before 450?
I’ve gotten 7 primes since Tuesday. 1 sidearm and 6 PIECES OF ARMOR!!! Is my luck just that bad or are they capped at tier 4 unless you are 450?

2 RepliesI had a tier 5 Aurora Dawn drop from heavy metal and I'm power level 403. I've not had a tier 5 HM weapon drop, I think they're capped at 4 unless you're 450.

Damn you got lucky! I never had a single prime or T5 drop from the activity (Light 435) after 40-50 runs and competing the entire event. Pretty sure you can’t get anything from it. Just more trash by a failing developer.
