Hey there. Which step are you on?
'Strangelet Capsules' look like hourglasses. You should have picked one up after fighting the 'Vessel of the Archon' encounter in the first mission - it is on the ground next to the reward chest. It is called 'Unusual Vessel' on the prompt, but does show as 'Strangelet Capsule' once picked up.
Later on you will be asked to find two more as part of the main quest. Here you will also be given two other quests, which are what you follow to find the next two Strangelet Capsules - the main quest is progressed by completing these two and obtaining the capsule at the end of each.

On step 9 Sends me to a room but no indication what to do next. I've exited and re entered several times I don't see a hint I don't see any description of what I'm supposed to be doing nothing. I don't even know how I got on Kepler in the first place Right now I'm trying to avoid that stupid sparky ball like the plague since it just causes extreme motion sickness and just trying to plow through campaign but just stuck on step 9

Do you not also have two other new missions in your log, called 'The Exile's Accord Strangelet' and 'The Central Academy Strangelet'? You advance the main quest by completing those. They should each have a marker on the map to show you the route. If you don't have them, could you check the Altar, the thing you can interact with when you fast travel to the settlement?

Both of those just lead to dead ends. I don't see a way through gave up for now

Huh now in another room where the portal is blocked off but doesn't appear to have any way to unblock. There's no enemies here there's no levera to pull or anything and sound is cutting in and out. No idea how to progress the two sections for step 9

Yeah I kept going to the one labeled academy but leads to a dead end so just tried the other and I think I did something. I literally cannot tell when I'm progressing this thing. I'm not enjoying this new style at all
