So I really love spectral blade in pvp since it's the closest I will ever have to bladedance again. However it has possibly the worst hit reg in the game 90% of the time, I have been point blank swinging on someone and it is like a 30% chance that my swing will register on them. I would love to get this problem fixed.

Welcome to the club man, I’ve been waiting for the Sentinel shield hit reg to be fixed since 2017 👍

2 RepliesIdk sentinel may be worse hit reg wise. Yesterday in Iron banner both the hit reg and targeting lock were a mess But both sucks

29 RepliesIt's better than arcstrider and seems to win the fight every -blam!- time. stfu and fix your connection.

Melee registration including supers isn’t great, never has been. Game is how many years old now and a simple melee comes down to if you’re lucky and get some reg or not. I’m sure someone has made a montage of melee whiffs by now 😂

It's everything that's melee related. They all have this weird thing. Sometimes, when I use spectral, after a few hits, I just phase through the enemy or boss

I believe all melee hit registration needs looked at.

Yup. Been this way for years. BungLe doesn't care.

Pretty much every "long lunge" melee attack has hit reg issues. Destiny's engine doesn't seem like it's well equipped to handle that kind of player movement, at least when coming into contact with hostile entities. Swords, Grapple-Melees, Shoulder Charges, all of these kinds of moves seem to fail to register more often than they probably should. I don't suspect any fix will ever come. It's always been this way. The few times Bungie has posted saying that they "improved" hit registration, nothing feels any different.
