Please don’t encourage Bungie to add more micro transaction into Destiny 2.
I hate it when full price AAA games have an in-game store like a free-to-play.

You don't have to make any in game purchases. And if these in-game purchases have a serious impact on the game play then that's another reason to avoid.. Everyverse sells only bling-bling and as far as I can remember there was one weapon ornament that had a tiny direct impact on the game and one that just made it easier (for some) to use the gun.

The issue with an in-game store for cosmetics is this: It is the highest revenue for the least investment. It doesn’t cost as much to produce snazzy looking armor, ships, sparrows and weapon ornaments than actual playable content or to fix long standing bugs and glitches in the game. Notice that there are plenty of problems with the game but the Eververse store always functions perfectly.

That's not an issue. It has no impact on the game if a few 3d artists design a couple of ornaments per season to sell. Yes - it is lucrative. B is a business 😀

Bungie plant.

Gotta love these entitled, reality-denying kids 😀

Wrong. Bungie made some bad decisions, lost money and had to lay off a lot of employees. There’s not enough people handling the cheating issue at the moment. They still have employees churning out content for the in-game store. It’s a priority issue.

3d artists do what they are supposed to do - Design 3d stuff that partially can be sold and generate income for the company. That's just a smart business decision. Anyone would do that. It's not like they told their QA team to work on 3d designs....

In a full price AAA game that you keep putting cash into for seasonal passes and dungeons, an in-game store shows disrespect to customers. Also it prioritizes the monetization from cosmetics over gameplay quality. 3D artists have to be paid, just like coders who de-bug a janky game. What do we have right now? A super buggy, janky game with lots of pretty cosmetics we can purchase in the Eververse store. But you keep on defending Bungie and their awful business decisions as if they’re rewarding you for it 🤣
-
There's nothing "disrespectful". B openly states how they operate and what is included in each package. If you're not ok with it no one forces you to buy the game and its content. The game is a commercial product. You either buy it or not. Yes, 3d artists make money for the company. Shocker - I know. How dare they. It's not like they could work on the technical side of things

I get it. You’re okay with Bungie’s bad business tactics that has lead to massive layoffs. You’re okay with Bungie continuing them. That’s on you.
