as your beloved gernader jake has stated "sbmm and a rank system mix like oil and water". there are posts all over youtube about it. if you have ever really tried to push your rank in comp you will feel sbmm working against you and it will always feel like your are trying to beat sbmm more than acending above those in your rank. other games have tried sbmm and after community outroar got rid of it (apex legends a blatant example). with solely ranked based match making if you are worth your salt odds are you will get the rank you deserve as you are not battling an algorithm more so than other guardians. sbmm from just a logical stantpoint is entirely unecessary in ranked play. please bungie for the sake of your games pvp longevity... fix this....
