I ran prophecy farming the first phase for about an hour and a half and most of the drops were boots and the class item!! Over 25 drops and about 80% were one of the two I mentioned. Bungie fix this as players we want guns not armor!!

Make them red border weps too. Rng is butt and too many mid perks on weps.

2 Repliesthey need to separate weapon and armor loot pools, which should have happened in Shadowkeep. There's no reason drops should be one or the other, just give players both. 99% of the time, legend difficulty raid and dungeon armor is complete garbage, and since weapons always get at least 2 trash perks, and you can't craft dungeon ones, you've got a rather small chance of getting a perfect or even decent roll. For raid challenges, you would get 2 armor and 2 weapons (2 adepts on master). It provides far more incentive and reward, and potentially forgives having one bad drop

If they didn't dilute the loot pool, you might get what you want and be satisfied, and they can't have that

Edited by Griever: 3/9/2024 10:47:18 PMWhat needs to be done is either weapon drops need to be increased or they need to introduce the Hymn of Destruction (POH) or whatever it was called to all dungeons. If you don't remember what it does, it guarantees a weapon drop on the next dungeon encounter you complete. It's why I stopped grinding Duality for the desired rolls of New Purpose and Unforgiven, because 80% of the rewards are armor pieces and the weapons have an insanely small chance of dropping with that roll. Alternatively, just let us craft or focus the gear we want. We can do it for the core vendors, seasonal vendors, raids, Trials, IB, even Master raids and GM NFs. Why can't we focus or craft dungeon weapons when we can craft, focus, and/ or reliably target farm damn near everything else? Some of which are comparable or better than the dungeon gear in question and others can have multiple rolls. A buddy of mine has a Breakneck for example with Subsistence/ Onslaught AND he can swap those for I think it was Keep Away and Adagio. He has like the best possible PVE/ PVP roll on any 450 AR just on that. Hell, I just got a Prophet with Outlaw/ Kill Clip, an Igneous with Rapid Hit/ Precision Instrument, and a Summoner with Heal Clip/ Onslaught. One of the best possible rolls on 3 of the best weapons in the game within 24 hours. In what activities that you can't reliably target farm a specific weapon can you get a weapon with rolls like these? Element aside, why would I use something like Eyasluna or Judgement when I can craft comparable/ better 140 HCs like Kept Confidence or Austringer, I even have a god roll Timelost Fatebringer? Why would I grind for New Purpose when I already have comparable/ better rolls I wanted on multiple Messengers, Disparity, and Stay Frosty? People can say it's to give players something to grind towards, but that's a flawed argument when we look at everything else we can focus, craft, and/ or target farm. Especially when we consider loot from vendors that can drop with extra rolls like the aforementioned Breakneck.

Game is so dry and empty they just want you chasing your tails inside a hamster wheel. Been like that for years cuz these guys can’t do squat anymore. They absolutely have no idea how to make a video game anymore! Bwahahahahahaha!!! Welcome to hollowness!

The dungeons are always like that at the beginning for the most part.

Especially Prophecy for some reason... I got nothing but bonds like 10x in a row farming the first encounter

4 RepliesEdited by CrimzonReaper: 3/9/2024 1:22:11 PMI’ve always found grinding dungeons a pain in the -blam!-, Prophecy seems really bad right now. I at least get some weapons when I grind other dungeons but this week has been terrible, I’m about to say screw it the weapons aren’t worth the bs.

Did 85, in a row. Got the legs about 40% of the time. Got the bond about 50% of the time. Never got a 4/5 weapon to drop. Mostly junk I wouldn’t take into any game mode.

Keep trying 🎰
