You make PvP exhausting to play and not fun.
Yup, don't care if it sounds dramatic. I lose the majority of competitive matches because I'm constantly matched with teams that can rarely even score 1 or 2 kills/points. I just don't get it. I love PvP, but competitive just sucks the fun away. Just played 3 matches in a row, losing team each time. Bungie punished people for leaving matches, but constantly matches teams with such a tremendous gap in skill so that 1 team doesn't stand a chance.

You play comp solo as a person who can't get positive K/D and you are playing against people who have 10x of your experience. The playerpool is very low atm, that's why it's hard for people like you to play in comp or trials. You need by far more practice to play comp and get some wins as a solo player especially when you play at times with such a bad player population. Low population = harder matches for everyone. We need fresh content (coming in may). That will push the playerpool. If I where you use the time and get more practice in pvp. If you want, write me a pm I can go with you in some privates and show you some tricks to perform better in pvp and get faster progress. 👍

4 Replies3 bad matches in a row? I’ve had much worse losing streaks than that. Comp is all about the long haul. You’ll have losing streaks and winning streaks. Sometimes your teammates aren’t very helpful, sometimes they carry you to victory. Take the rough with the smooth, I say.

When you play with randoms you have to be ready for them to act like randoms. When you go in with friends, THEN you can expect to have team mates that talk, listen, and work together. I'm a PvE guy who is trying to get better in crucible with an hour of practice each day, and some comp each week. I think I've figured out how to NOT lose my mind when paired with team mates who make questionable decisions. If you want good team mates, you have to BE a good team mate. You go with them, you shoot what they shoot, you watch them and back their push, or clean up the duel. You cannot expect them to do the same, it falls on you. I wish I was good enough to just roll into comp and do whatever I want and win, but that's not the case. There are six people in a comp match, and if you are solo you gotta have plans to deal with five of them. When I have a fireteam made of my friends list it's a completely different experience. Win or lose, playing with friends is better. And I tip my hat to the folks in this post for having a rational conversation and looking to improve and help instead of just tearing someone else down in a comment. It's nice to see forums working this way.

Just stop playing Destiny PvP. Bungie is not good at PvP. If I were Sony I would be worried about Marathon.

Welcome to the solo Garbage lobby balancing, even if you have a bit of skill, the most tiny bit of skill, expect to baby sit your teammates who seem to combust every 5 seconds for no reason.
