imagine it got a catalyst that you can change firing modes by holding reload from main to big fridged blast
-
it takes 2 seconds to full charge and takes about 3 grenades of ammo reserves to fire one massive shot that instantly freezes and deals extremely high damage in a large blast radius similar to parasite with 8 stacks of worms hunger
-
I think it would give it some unique utility outside of its stasis wall and uncharged grenade launcher firing mode
-
Your passion for this is wild to me, I've seen you post it on reddit and Facebook groups. I am sort of now hoping you get your wish.

Salvations Grip definitely needs a catalyst however, it should remain a utility exotic. My Proposal - While the canister (magazine) is full, Salvations Grip now acts as a mobile Stasis Crystal - Gains auto loading holster With my proposal, Salvations Grip would essentially be way for the fragment, Whisper of Chains, to always be active. Which would allow for a tank… behemoth… build. Would this be OP? I do not believe so because Salvations Grip takes the spot of your best DPS weapon in exchange for more survivability which Stasis struggles with already.

It was a doomed gimmick in the first place, and is a testament to how bad Stasis was implemented

Edited by Alpha277: 1/1/2024 5:15:58 PMHow about something more simple that gives it even more utility: uncharged shots now leave duskfields on impact. Shattering a crystal or a frozen enemy increases the size and duration of the duskfield.

😅 Outside of the quest, I don't know of anyone who uses it, unless they're trying to climb something. So a huge Ice 💩.

Nah Salvations grig needs a catalyst that removes the need to charge up the Glacial Shot. The Glacial Grenade actually does damage, the charge just prevents good DPS.

I'm cool with that

In case you never have, it’s a blast to take it into Dares of Eternity with a friend or two, get Starhorse’s Favor and spam the second encounter with stasis crystals.
