I think the title says it all really

-
1 ReplyHave you tried being ever so slightly more patient?
-
^ Bump the hitbox is stupidly huge
-
1 ReplyJust run around them.... whenever I do abyss with people and they're getting hit, I always remind them they're allowed to walk around the outside and don't have to stay on the path
-
How about just wait for them to go by instead of running face first into them?
-
I think the title says it all really
BUNGIE DONT LISTEN TO HIM! #MakeTheHitBoxesBigger No more pendulums Just have swinging walls! DO IT.
-
I mean, if this is the worst we have to complain about we have it pretty good. This is a non issue.

They do extend out more than I expected, but they are really not difficult. Put your brightness on 7 and watch them. There are also certain paths that avoid them completely. Since the lanterns don't all have to be ignited, just unlocked via chalice podiums, you can skip ones like the final lantern which has a few of those things swinging all around it. This is literally overall one of the easiest raids in the game, I'm not sure why people really have difficulty with encounters like this one, and Deathsinger seems to be another one that people just can't figure out.
-
3 RepliesHow about remove them altogether. Seriously that's the only thing that makes the encounter frustrating and it used to be a crazy fun encounter in D1

Edited by The Bored Chairman: 9/8/2023 2:12:17 AMThey absolutely have extended hit boxes, but most people I've seen get hit by them are just impatient or get an unfortunate Eager Edge sideways swing on a Thrall. Just wait for them to swing past, even at Weight of Darkness 10 isn't that big a deal.
-
Make them invisible, and add Hive traps in there path Bungie said they cranked the raid up to 11, I saw 4-6 at best, it should have been so hard even salt was asking Bungie to nerf it
-
Awww, I miss getting knocked 50 meters away from a lamp by a pendulum on the other side of it! I should get a crota team together tonight. No, no I shouldn't...
-
2 RepliesThis raid broke up many clans on day 1 . Good job bungo way to drive people away from your game. If the 4000 or so teams that completed it, want raids more difficult then Bungie should make a raid that's so difficult that maybe 1 or 2 teams beat it. Crank it up to demoralize level.
-
1 ReplyIDK why i have not been killed or even hit by these things after my first clear on day one. Most people i see take a straight path and die to these or eager edge into a hole. Take some time and learn the layout and patterns and you should never die. But i agree. The hit boxes are a bit bigger than the swing it self.
-
2 RepliesLol the hit box needs to be the size of the actual thing itself. It's way to big.
-
1 ReplyEdited by AtomicGhostBomb: 9/6/2023 9:12:27 PMYeah ngl they have way too much reach they could dial it back a tiny notch me and my friends tested one of them out, and it hits you without even touching you its BS
-
It's mainly the hitboxes are slightly bigger than the actual pendulum you see. That needs to be fixed.
-
The problem I see is how they try to use swords to get to their spots fast. And what happens is that the sword auto tracks the lantern and hits it sometimes. Which ends up killing some players.
-
STOP TRYING TO SPEED RUN THE ABYSS AND TAKE YOUR TIME
-
2 RepliesI think they are good as they are… it’s not difficult to watch for them
-
It's probably easier and just as effective for them to simply reduce the amount of damage it does. Instead of taking you to 10% health have it do 50%. That way you can at least recover from it.
-
just random instadeath, sometimes i hit straight into pendulum and 0 damage feather light triumph needs to be nerfed
-
1 Replyof all the problems that need to be addressed... okay.
