Immortal not getting nerft? But vex is ?
Did I miss something or are we really letting immortal go untouched. And don’t get me started on the wards going untouched to. I have to have miss something no way we have to deal with immortal spam for another season.

1 ReplyImmortal is going to get hit by the RF nerf/Zoom change. Not saying it'll be enough to be palatable for you, but it will be worse. We'll have to see by how much. Wards probably do need to be touched ATP.

I have to have miss something no way we have to deal with immortal spam for another season.[/quote] Yeah you missed something they already nerfed Immortal, and are Nerfing SMGs as a whole next season Besides Vex has a 0.6 time to kill The immortal (adept) has a 0.765 time to kill Which means by stats alone Vex's ttk is over 10% faster then the 'best' PvP weapon

It was already nerfed twice, rangefinder was nerfed, and all range is being normalized next season which will be another nerf. Quit whining.

Target Lock was nerfed Now Rangefinder is getting hit again The gun itself didn't get nerfed , but the perks that it shined with did It will still be good, just not a cheat code

That meme with the buff Shiba inu on the left and the timid frail tiny one on the right comes to mind... D1 Vex and pre-nerf D2 Vex were pretty nice.

I didn't spend three years in Vietnam to have my favorite gun nerfed.

With the range nerf and the other range nerf probably going to be better options with autos coming up 720 :)

SMGs will lose some of their current engagement range as part of the zoom-change, no?

“According to their data”. Vex gets more kills per life than Immortal or Immortal Adept, it’s just used way less. Like that graph, apparently Vex has one of the highest KDs of any major weapon. I have anecdotes that kinda line up. But it’s not been a crazy issue. At least DPS isn’t getting a nerf in PvE because of it… I think they think the next update’s changes to Zoom and the range shifts will nerf Immortal enough…

Nah see Bungie crunched the numbers they know it's actually the real meta pick we just can't see it, so what if you see maybe 1/10,000 people using it once a week, they're right you're wrong.

Didn’t they already nerf the range stat on that thing? Target Lock also got a pvp nerf recently too if I remember correctly.

They are slowly returning vex to what it was when it launched in d2. It was garbage until they buffed it. Now it’s gonna go back to what it was. It’s my most used exotic, I have a feeling it will be going to the vault.
