Why do I have to acquire a Dungeon Key in WQ?
I came back to Destiny after a year hiatus, and acquired Lightfall and Season of the Deep, but now, after having bought the De Luxe Edition of Witch Queen, bundled with the Bungie 30th Anniversary, and having finished the campaign a year ago, now I need a freakin' dungeon key to even start a bunch of activities? And I don't even know how to get it... are you asking us to pay for it? Can somebody please explain?

2 RepliesEdited by ForeverLaxx: 7/10/2023 10:22:28 PMIt's intentionally confusing and misleading on purpose in order for you to do exactly what you've done, which is buy product/bundles that did not contain something you would eventually want/need to continue progression. Yes, they're "asking" you to pay for it because those dungeons were stripped out of the seasonal content model and sold separately (while the price stayed the same; thanks, Bungie!). You'd have to have bought the relevant Deluxe Edition/annual pass up front if you wanted the dungeons bundled in with it. With Witch Queen Deluxe + 30th Anniversary, the only Dungeons you'd have access to through those are Spire of the Watcher, Duality, and Grasp of Avarice. Ghosts of the Deep would not be available unless you picked up Lightfall Deluxe/annual pass, which your post does not indicate doing so. If you're not able to launch Spire, Duality, or Grasp, then contact support directly. In any event, welcome to Bungie's new monetization model: confusion incarnate. I bought and started playing the day before this season started on I was also shocked and disappointed to find out I need to pay more if I want the 2 dungeons.

1 ReplyIf you buy dlc deluxe edition after the release date, you don't get the dungeon. This happed to my freinds who bought it after it was released WQ and LF too. You must buy dungeon key in game shop with silver. Bungie way to force players for pre orders.

Bungie is cheap, their game is dead. You swore EA bought them out, only ppl who defend them are the devs who pretend to be players on the forums. Dead game

Edited by waterpolo1: 7/10/2023 4:54:08 AMI was not aware that the deluxe edition of WQ was still on sale. At least it's not in the game store, xbox store or steam. If you Got it from a third party site I would recommend getting a refund because you got baited. But to answer your question, you can buy dungeon keys from the in game shop with silver. They are located in the expansions section. They took them out of the season passes because "you should not over-deliver"
