Dear Destiny 2 Support Team,
I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to express my immense concern regarding an erroneous cross-platform binding for Destiny 2, which I have recently faced and which is causing substantial distress.
In essence, I had initially purchased the game on Steam and was happily playing on this platform for a considerable period of time. Unfortunately, and quite inexplicably, my account was mysteriously bound to the Xbox platform, It should be noted that during the binding process, I followed the instructions carefully; however, an unforeseen error occurred subsequently, leading to an unfortunate turn of events.
I wish to highlight that I have made a significant investment into my Destiny 2 experience on the Steam platform in terms of time, effort, and financially—by purchasing Silver. Consequently, the notion of restarting my progress on an alternative platform such as Xbox is simply unfathomable. This non-consensual shifting between platforms is a grave inconvenience, and it has interrupted my enjoyment of the game profoundly.
I kindly request your immediate assistance in rectifying this matter. I would greatly appreciate it if you could either stop the cross-platform functionality altogether or, alternatively, switch the primary account back to Steam.
While I understand that technical glitches can sometimes occur, it is vital to acknowledge the impact they have on a user’s overall gaming experience. All I want is to continue with my adventure on Destiny 2 via my original Steam account, where I had initially intended it to be.
Moreover, as a loyal member of the Destiny 2 community, I place great trust in your capacity to resolve this matter promptly and efficiently. I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to your understanding and ask that you keep the customers’ perspective at the forefront when dealing with such issues.
To conclude, I genuinely enjoy Destiny 2 and regard it highly. Hence, this sudden complication deeply saddens me. Regardless, I strongly believe in your team’s commitment to player satisfaction and am confident that you will help address my concerns at the earliest.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to a prompt resolution that allows me to continue my experience with Destiny 2 on my preferred platform.
Thanks again, I've been struggling for a week and it's hard to keep going
P.S.: To assist in your problem-solving process,I can provide any information about any tied account. Please treat this issue as a matter of urgency.

10 RepliesHi, You have two previous threads mentioned in the last week on this exact issue (Link 1 and Link 2), where the correct information has already been given.
I kindly request your immediate assistance in rectifying this matter. Bungie cannot do this for you. Making more posts on this will result in your removal from the forums. You now have 3 posts that point you towards your resolution. There is no "appeal" process for Cross Save issues with Bungie.

2 RepliesHello there, You have to deactivate cross save before you can change the active account save file. 1. Deactivate cross save, doing so will trigger the 90 day cool down 2. After the 90 day cooldown for deactivation, reactivate cross save, taking care to choose the save file you want as active. Worth noting, that if you have purchased Silver recently, you will not be able to deactivate cross save until 90 days from the date the Silver was purchased.

5 Replies1. No. You must wait just like everyone else. 2. Stop spamming the forums. You’ve already been answered multiple times. The answer won’t change because you keep asking.
