FPS drops worse when around other players in Destiny 2
A few people have been reporting random FPS drops, stuttering etc. whilst playing Destiny 2. I've been having these issues consistently since Season of the Seraph - no amount of changing settings or anything has been able to fix this so far.
I've been noticing that the FPS drops are much MUCH less severe when I'm playing solo - like during a solo dungeon attempt. They also seem to get worse the more players are about - raids and crucible can be downright unplayable, gambit and trials were stuttery but playable, the tower and patrol zones seem to vary based on how many other players there are.
This doesn't seem to be a networking issue, however, as I'm not getting disconnects, error codes, or lagging. Network usage is stable, but GPU usage goes right up to 100% during an FPS drop.
I have a 16GB RTX 3080 Ti graphics card, a i9-12900H 2.50 GHz processor, and 64GB RAM - no other games or applications have been experiencing issues, and Destiny 2 only started to have these issues during Season of the Seraph, though they've gotten worse with Lightfall.
