Hey Bungo,
We need more vault space, especially with lightfall coming. I am sure there will be 100+ weapons that get dropped. I, and majority of my friends, are struggling to have the room in our vaults. Help us out.
And before I get hit with the "oH yOu jUsT nEEd beTTuR orGuniZatIoN sKiLz" BS, any veteran of this game knows how bungo operates by now. They constantly flip the sandbox which turns obsolete things into the meta. A wise man once said "its better to have something and not need it, than to need it and not have it."
Plus, I play this game for two main reasons.
1) to do hard end-game pve content (day 1 raids, GM's, etc.) and to be efficient in both of those things, and not be a liability to my team, I need optimal loadouts. That requires me to have high deeps and the builds/weaponry to do a good job.
2) I like to collect godroll weapons. When this game eventually ends (I hope sooner than later for my own sanity) I want to be able to look back and see the weapons I have obtained over the years as a collection and a constant reminder that Bungo loves to screw over their customers.
Until next week...

Edited by MO3IUS: 1/23/2023 10:20:59 PMWow... the players in here shaming "hoarders" about the need for more vault space are legitimately the worst of the D2 community. Its obvious Bungie doesn't want to pay for upgraded servers or memory space so here are the realistic solutions. 1.Limit the vault space only on old generation consoles to free up space for new ones. If you don't want to pay for a new console more than once a decade you are the problem. People that invested in new hardware whether pc or console reap the rewards. 2.Have a tier system in the vault that unlocks space needed by page so the space going unused by some players can be used by others. Obviously set a limit on the high end but also obviously a player with 100 hrs won't need the space of a player with 1000+. 3.Overhaul the collections. The fact I can't even try to reaquire the random rolled weapons or exotic armor is rediculous. At the very least make the reacquired gear and guns have random rolls so I have the ability to waste materials for a chance at getting something back you forced me to delete. The fact bungie expects you to lose a gun completely or be given the worst possible roll on a piece of exotic armor is ludacris. Day 1 D1 player here and this has been an issue for far too long. I have literally 3 sunset weapons in my vault. The other 596 spaces are taken up by god roll/ very useable rolled weapons and high stat exotic armor rolls for all 3 characters nothing more. Time is the most valuable resource and I shouldn't have to replay things more than I already have to reacquire something you once told me was useless and now isn't. If you don't see the issue here or see the validity in any of these proposed solutions you are either not playing the game correctly, do not have 3 characters, or are just filled with ignorance and stupidity. We are on year 6 with no plans on making a new game in sight... wake up people.

5 RepliesRemember in D1 when we only had 100 slots for weapons & a separate 100 slots for armor?
-
3 RepliesVault space should be reduced imo
-
2 RepliesI didn't know "Hoarders" aired on Tuesdays.
-
2 RepliesVault space isnt an issue lol
-
4 RepliesWe do not need more vault space. It's on the extreme end rn
-
1 ReplyHow many times must everyone be told they cannot increase vault space anymore because of limitations on the old consoles. Until they stop making the content that comes out for old consoles we will be stuck with what you have now , the good news is that they have announced that sun setting is done so all the players saying they can't delete anything because of what bungie might change in the future is a lie cause as we all know bungie is true to their word and does not change their minds to try and bamboozle there customers of more money for stuff we have already bought multiple times

3 RepliesEdited by Canadia: 1/18/2023 1:37:58 PMYou don't even need all 600 slots we have atm. You either have to many pointless weapon rolls or are hoarding to many armour pieces. This is coming from someone with 47 titles and 4 day 1 raid emblems.
-
1 ReplyNo, you -blam!- don't. Delete trash you spoiled brat. I have 749 more hours played than you and VS has never been an issue. FYI if you could hoard everything then the loot becomes pointless.
-
2 RepliesOr...hear me out: CLEAN YOUR VAULT.
-
10 RepliesEdited by Shark: 1/17/2023 5:47:36 AMNo. The fact that you're so worried about "what ifs" is just sad. You don't need the meta to complete content in this game or play pvp. You don't need that many guns. Vault space is fine
-
I think what would be more beneficial if they changed how the vault works. By that I mean, Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters armor gear should be separated from the main vault, and leave Weapons, Ghosts, Sparrows, and Planes all in one vault.
-
16 RepliesIt will never cease to amaze me how many people will be against something that doesn't hurt them at all just because someone else may get what they want.
-
I have like 7 items in my vault lmao.
-
Just your weekly 'Learn how to stop being a hoarder and delete items' response you like to ignore.
-
2 RepliesJust get rid of the Guns (ones you don't like to use) and Armor (Old armor that is irrelevant) I have no issues with this problem, I'd say Stockpile the "saved sets" in you DIM on that character instead of the vault I bet it out start to free up at least an eighth of the space you would "need"
-
I wish they would go back to how D1 was and you unlocked the perks as you use the weapon. That would help tremendously
-
Banshee should do a gun buyback program: Turn in an exotic, get a finest matterweave. Turn in a legendary, get a level 1 blind well startup token

5 RepliesoH yOu jUsT nEEd beTTuR orGuniZatIoN sKiLz

I've finally maxed out my vault. I only have one copy of any gun in there with a few exceptions of a pvp and pve god roll. Mostly exotic armor high stat drops for different elemental affinities Guess I can go and clean that out now too with the new mods rework but still it's annoying
-
11 RepliesHow do you all keep running out of space?
-
7 RepliesImagine if our collections system was actually worth something. Suppose that we could store past-acquired rolls of weapons and armor in it and recall them for later at any point, even if they were dismantled. Our collective vault space problems would be solved overnight.
-
Give me a reason you are filling up 600 vault spaces. Statistically it’s impossible that all weapons in your vault are all endgame viable with 0 overlap. You don’t need all of those weapons
-
Edited by Konnen73: 1/18/2023 1:27:30 PMThey could update the game tomorrow and add another 1000 slots, and you'll be back here in 3 weeks asking for more. Its a never-ending cycle.
-
2 RepliesI agree. Bungie keeps adding ghosts, sparrows, ships and weapons as if we have a 5,000 item vault and not a 500. That's why I never buy from Eververse; no place to keep it. I get a new ship or sparrow and my first thought isn't, oh boy, it's oh crap, my vault is at 497. Not a good way to keep player enthusiasm.

Screw the vault I want more inventory space. Outriders if you ever played it you got 15 slots for each weapon type and armor piece now we don’t necessarily need the much but at least 3 more slots per category
