We need the glaive healing turret as an aspect. Combine the movement abilities into 1 aspect and give us this.
We will be the turret class (strand will have turrets I bet). Solar needs its turret to be a healing turret.
Let it be done.

11 RepliesIf solar warlock gets a new aspect, it needs to be igniting touch from bottom tree dawnblade. Removing that was the worst decision made in solar 3.0

Edited by Hydro Fenrir: 11/18/2022 11:32:01 AMIdk about a healing turret bc we have healing grenades, the glaive, boots of the assembler, and lumina for healing things already. Maybe an orb buddy that applies scorch stacks or provides radiant? Idk, I'm really obsessed with having any and all the little buddies I can on my warlock The idea I have for the radiant one would be that it floats above your shoulder, keeps you radiant for as long as it's up and grant radiant to allies that get close enough. Not sure what would to do for a scorch one though. Either an aoe thing like child of the old gods or maybe a personal bodyguard that scorches anyone who gets too close?

Pretty sure warlock strand is a summoner class, given the description, they’re getting more than turrets.

I’m a fan of this idea. I get that some people don’t like this turret direction of warlock and would prefer something else, but having one doesn’t mean we don’t get the other. No reason not to believe each subclass won’t get several more aspects, fragments, grenades, etcetera.

As a warlock, I personally dislike set and forget type abilities like these. It feels so passive, like I’M not actually doing anything. The only “buddy” I actually like somewhat is the void soul since it has a more active element in there you place it, then you dish out what you need to with more ease (this is active though, you can’t just leave it). Stasis turrets are way to slow to do anything and by the time you have multiple out, freezing a whole room, everything could’ve already been dead two times over with literally any other subclass. Arc soul is just in general boring for me. I know a lot of people like these things, but the passive gameplay just ain’t it for me. It’s the same principle with the Well of Radiance. Just something to further lean into brain dead gameplay. I actually think Well should be totally reworked to function more like IG radiance. It should heal a bit slower, increase ability regen for all inside, as well as ability effectiveness. No weapon buffs. Well of radiance makes bubble completely obsolete and trivializes any and all difficult encounters. No skill involved in these particular abilities, just mind numbing imo. Idk I know I’m rambling but I just like things that DO something more focused and active. TLDR: Set and forget ain’t it, but hey that’s just me

Since warlocks already have an aspect that buffs solar grenades, just tie it into that. Equipping healing grenades while this aspect is equipped will spawn healing turrets.

4 RepliesYES! And make Titan's great at being the melee class again, no more of this Hunter's and Warlocks getting one shot melee abilities. And Hunters can just sit in the corner and be quiet. Its already enough they are more populace than every other class, never mind their broken af dodge.

2 RepliesFor the love of godball, no more passive boring -blam!- for Warlocks. Please. Look at the list of interesting, actual gameplay abilities with no Warlock analog.. adapt some of that to heals instead.

2 RepliesEdited by Dominator of Oats: 11/17/2022 1:49:47 PMAfter years of being a Warlock main, I’m about to quit because I’m not a fan of this direction. I don’t want to invest in turrets. Right now it’s, Well, Stasis Turrets, Void mobile Turrets, and soon, Arc Turrets while you’re mobile. Like, okay we get it, can I have something else to play with that isn’t a turret or a lame melee? It’s boring!

I like the idea, but honestly Warlocks need more active abilities. They’ve got too many passive abilities and buffs.
