just as title says a person resetting their card to play against the bottom players for free wins should either get a ban or be prevented from staying in the bottom percent. it needs to be made that you cannot reset your card until the while fireteam is on a 2-loss streak or the flawless is taken. seeing a player with 300+ flawless and a 3kd just playing on Sundays and resetting after every win the stay in the pool is ridiculous. now i normally get my flawless and stop playing cause Sunday is the only day i can really play but i feel bad for all the people that wait for that day to hopefully get their flawless only to match against these scumbags

1 ReplyThe majority of people that I know that do it consistently don’t do it to gatekeep or farm. I only ever do it on my favorite maps and here lately my favorite maps have rarely been the Trials maps. So 85% of the time I only play Friday and Saturday. Flawless Pool wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t full of sus/hard cheaters (PC obviously the worst here) and people playing like absolute rats abusing the cheesiest sh!t in the game. It’s not about “not wanting to play good players” because we literally go out of our way to play scrims AGAINST GOOD PLAYERS. A lot of people including myself have always loved to just grind Trials throughout the weekend going back to D1. I find Trials the best game mode the game has to offer and everyone knows the loot isn’t worth it so why else do I play? Enjoyment. I’m sorry, but Flawless Pool shouldn’t even be a thing. There are some things in life and games that is just simply out of reach for people and that should be accepted. If you truly want to go flawless more and do it easily every weekend then you’re going to have to do it what the rest of us has done and invest time into getting better. This is one of the biggest issues people have because they do not care one bit about getting better, yet they think they are entitled just because.

7 RepliesEasy fix. Remove the ability to reset without a loss and remove the flawless/non-flawless pools.
-
Or make it so cards can’t be reset unless they’re actually flawed.

Edited by Lore Oradon: 9/27/2022 7:04:59 AMCan't Ban them if Bungie allows it as they themselves put the Feature in. Not happening.
-
10 RepliesPlayers who cry about card resets should be banned. Like how pathetic must you be that you’re already easy flawless pool has a tiny fraction of players better than you in it 😂 Imagine how pathetic you must be to cry about your kiddie pool not being easy enough 😂😂😂
-
1 ReplyI think they should take it a step further and outright ban anyone who beats me.
-
25 Repliesso by resetting their cards they get to choose to exclusively play bottom tier people? when did that function become available? no one has to go flawless, it's a goal not a requirement. they don't get free wins by resetting, they beat the people they face. those who lose just lost to someone who outplayed them. that's all there is to it.
-
2 Replies“Bungie should ban people that are making regular use of game mechanics” That’s enough D2 Forums for today

Edited by Sky_hawk: 9/28/2022 9:17:47 PMHere is an idea… Card resetting should be disallowed when you’re winning… Just think about it… If someone has a winning streak (no loses) on the card… then why resetting the card??? The answer is… to pump up the stats and ELO scores. Easy solution… If you have no loses on the card then there shouldn’t be any LEGITIMATE reason for resetting the card, therefore, Bungie should disallowed resetting when winning. In this scenario… players could only reset their cards after getting a loss… Here Bungie would have to consider those who would purposely leave at the beginning of the match (let’s say on their 4th match) in order to get a FAKE loss. And at that moment, such players should get banned from trials for trying to exploit the game (1 hour ban for example). I get it… this idea is not bullet proof. But at least, it’s something to consider.

I’d never reset. Just disgusting behavior.

4 RepliesPeople can play how they want you all ready have the flawless pool which shouldn't exist. How much easier do you want it?

Edited by Joulevette12: 9/28/2022 4:23:22 PMPpl who say removing the flawless pool will solve this is BS ppl been doing this way before the flawless pool even came out it's all about farming KD to get a better team off of LFG for a higher chance to go flawless That's why I like freelance better then regular trials I can have fun and not worry about stack highly skill players card resetting for KD along with unbalanced matches
-
5 RepliesMaybe YOU should get good.
-
3 RepliesMake flawless pool kd based. On Sunday if your kid is above a 2.0 for the weekend you and your fire team get put in the flawless pool. On Monday if your kid is a 1.5 for the week, flawless pool.
-
Sbmm in trials should fix this. Hopefully they do that.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Sky_hawk: 9/26/2022 4:48:53 AM100% agree with you. Those pvp clowns avoid REAL pvp competition by NOT playing on Fridays or Saturdays and ONLY playing on Sundays, Mondays, and maybe even Tuesdays… without going flawless (or going flawless at their last run) just so they can pump up their inflated KDs against lower tier players from Sunday reset till Tuesday reset. Bungie 100% should stop this nonsense.
-
16 RepliesRemove flawless altogether. Make it 7 wins no matter how many losses. There, I fixed it.
-
nope. blame bungie. flawless pool is the problem.
-
Maybe make trials reward adept weapon on 7 wins but when you go flawless you get adept weapons, shaders, ships, resources. Idk I saw a tweet on twitter saying something along those lines by truevanguard and ngl I dont see it hurting trials Ive had my plenty going flawless and at the end of the day….You’re only getting one adept weapon that many players either have or will be getting same as you. 7 wins gets you an adept weapon but flawless gives you an adept weapon plus so much more? It’d make going flawless 100x better but unfortunately Almost all of the pvp community feels too entitled and selfish to even think of ideas to make trials what I’d say a little more “better, healthy, and worth it”
-
Lock the card until completion.
-
2 RepliesOr Bungie could just remove the Flawless Pool and have teams go up against Flawless teams on their 2nd, 4th and 6th games just to make sure teams are even worthy of participating in the Trials of Osiris.
-
Who? Purechill and benny?
-
4 RepliesOnce you have 7 wins in a row on any card you go into flawless… again a very simple solution
-
6 RepliesI've said this before, and I'll say it again. The reset on a card should only be allowed if it's been flawed.
-
That would anger the streamers. Must not anger the streamers.
