The damage done to this game is unrepairable and removing PvP to return the content Bungie removed will do absolutely nothing for destiny knowing they can't even handle PvE. I have never seen any game in my life chopped up this bad with a developer just slapping in whatever they think will bring in money. Destiny is literally a disaster in just about every aspect of it, all the way down to their engine/P2P. The truth is, Bungie is in way over their head. Edit: I normally don't say this, but downvoting me will not change the facts. [b](Bungie literally does not have the manpower for this game, and that alone is a huge problem, especially since Activation left with all the resources given to them.)[/b] Not to mention how Bungie has Matter going and other projects. For over 3 years now Bungie has said many things since Activision left like hiring more employees to produce more content. Yet they haven't even really produced any content let alone really any PvP maps like they use to when Activision was around. So the question stands, where are all the resources going because it sure as hell is not going into destiny?

This is a pretty bad take. Why not instead make a post to [i]improve[/i] the state of PVP rather than flat out remove it? Why are you actively advocating for a sunset of another entire part of the game?

One of the problems with Destiny 2 PvP is how unrealistic the gunplay is. I've said before that even John Wick couldn't get headshots the way that better pvp players do, especially at range while both they and their target are moving. Handguns without scopes (almost all sidearms and hand cannons), should not be capable of reliably hitting a target at the farther end of mid range, let alone get headshots without being super lucky or having a lot of time to sit and aim at a stationary target. The damage profiles of weapons doesn't match reality either. In Destiny, sidearms will often do non-crit damage per hit that is double or more than an auto-rifle. That is ludicrous. Even the .223 Remington (almost interchangeable with the 5.56 NATO round) used in rifles like the AR-15 (and full auto military versions) has more kinetic energy, by a lot, compared to 9mm or 45 ACP rounds. Even the Dirty Harry favorite .44 Magnum doesn't quite match the KE of that bullet. You need to get to much more powerful cartridges that are less common, like .454, before they exceed even lower powered rifle rounds. Sniper rifles generally do not fire rounds with much more punch than assault rifles, either. The 7.62 NATO round is used in assault rifles in other NATO countries more than by the U.S. military, which prefers the 5.56, like for the M-16, for being more lightweight, thus allowing infantry to carry more ammo and deal with less recoil. Sure, the 50 cal Sniper rifles can fire enormous distances and carry a lot of energy, but a sniper would only use that at very long range, as it would be virtually impossible to hide your position after firing if you were even a few hundred yards away. Which brings up another point. Sniper rifles are intended to be used by a stationary marksman firing from cover and concealment. No one is going to use a sniper rifle while running and being shot at. Summary - sidearms should have the same damage profiles as SMGs. Auto rifles and pulse rifles should do more damage than sidearms and SMGs, never less, and sniper rifles should not do that much more damage than them. Getting headshots on a moving target while moving and being shot at yourself should be a matter of pure luck, not something a player could do fairly often. But then, none of that would be likely to make the game more fun for most players. It also doesn't matter at all in PvE. Having a variety of weapons that are effective in a variety of situations is what is fun. I am bringing this up because this blueberry does get tired of being sniped by people that pop up from cover and hit me before I can even aim down my own sights. And I get tired of being killed by hand cannons at ranges that I have trouble getting any hits with rifles with scopes. I try to use the tactics that work against me, but I just can't manage it. I'll go a whole control match and not get a single kill with a sniper rifle. I shoot all around opponents with hand cannons, hitting only air. Maybe I just suck and can't aim, maybe other people are using aim bots, but it does just seem dumb sometimes.
